Although I turned up late for breakfast, the staff still provided breakfast.
When I checked into a room on the second floor of the hotel, there was a strong smell of paint, to which I am severely allergic. There was no information anywhere that the hotel had recently undergone cosmetic repairs. I informed the staff member about my allergies, and he offered to show me two other rooms on the same floor, which had the same strong smell. The smell was throughout the entire floor and in the corridor. The staff member then said that the hotel would cancel everything and refund the full cost. I had to leave and spend two hours on the road feeling unwell. I did not receive any information about the cancellation, so I wrote to the hotel myself and asked why. They replied that they could not do this, that I had to do it myself. I then replied that the hotel employee had told me otherwise. I then received a reply from this employee, who wrote that I had spent more than an hour in the room and the hotel would not refund my money. But it's difficult to spend an hour in a room where it's hard to breathe. Further messaging yielded no results. Be careful! At this hotel, guest safety is the last priority.

The double room was a little small if it was fit 2 people, but it is manageable!
We loved the location of the property. On the whole, staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond for us.
We’d definitely stay again. The location was perfect for us. Just out of the main hustle but close enough to walk to attractions, restaurants and coffee shops. Great transport links also close by.
