Royal Floridian Resort

We came to the Royal Floridian to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday, and we had the most amazing vacation! The staff treats you like family here. Our room was clean, spacious, and overlooked the ocean! There are plenty of walkable dining and shopping options, so we didn't need to drive anywhere. The resort has a fun and relaxing atmosphere with plenty of activities to participate in, and a large enough pool deck to relax as well. Incredible value for this stay at the Royal Floridian.

Whomever invented that game should be punched! Everyone is on the Sun deck chilling reading, napping trying to relax in general and someone sets up corn hole! Along with the obnoxious thudding of bean bags the players start hollering as if no one around them is trying to enjoy the one good weather day this week! Bad form all around! Move that obnoxious game out to the beach!!!!
The resort is otherwise okay. A few peccadilloes here and there but clean and semi remodeled!

Had a great experience with many memories made! Not just the location with the beautiful views made out trip but the great resort accommodations and resort staff. Brianna and Corey were always smiling and went the extra mile to see that we felt welcomed and well informed. We look forwarding to returning in the future.

We returned again to the Royal Floridian, as we find it has so many things that we enjoy! Yes, Ormond Beach is a pleasant community where things are peaceful and we feel safe - OK, the Bikers overflow from Daytona and some weeks can be noisy, but certainly not all the time.
Our room was comfortable; heating, cooling were working well; kitchen amenities all clean and new; floors clean and linens in great shape.
My wife has some mobility issues, but the doors and elevators are all wide enough for easy access. I enjoy flying kites on the beach; she can watch from the large windows or the porch on the ocean side. I also am still thrilled with the Space Program; we aren't far from Canaveral, but it is so easy and thrilling to just watch from the beach! Numerous websites keep the schedule available.
I have enjoyed some of the extra touches The Floridian provides- some days there are burgers on the pool deck or other light lunches for an easy fee, free AM coffee for the folks who gather for conversation- or just grab and go; and a daily activity schedule. We missed the pool this year as it was getting some renovations, but it looks like it will be soon in service. We hate to see our time end, but plan to return again!

We stayed at Royal Floridian and honestly loved it. The condo is right on the beach you walk out and you’re basically on the sand. That alone made the trip. The condo was fully furnished, clean, and comfortable. Everything we needed was there, and it actually felt like a place you could relax in, not just sleep and leave. The pool and hot tub were great, the grounds were well kept, and it was just an easy, laid-back stay. Nothing complicated, nothing stressful just a good beach trip. Would 100% stay here again and recommend it if you’re looking for a simple, beachfront condo with solid amenities

We booked two, 2-Bedroom condos and were able to get side by side units for a large party of friends going to Spring Training baseball games in Florida. We spent a week at the resort. This place is amazing. The ocean view from our room, with floor to ceiling windows, was fabulous. They had activities like water aerobics and bingo. The location allowed us to visit nearby state parks, college baseball games, a major league baseball game, and Kennedy Space Center.

Pictures on website shows much bigger rooms, finally u end up in 20 m2 room, not even a table to out a laptop. Small TV with picture having two different colors, split in the middle, no netflix or other channels. Prices too high for service and quality of the room. I asked a bigger one w two separate beds, receptionist offered for 260 usd per night! I do not recommend!

been coming here for several years and it never disappoints. it's friendly family oriented, rooms well appointed and staff is always very pleasant and helpful. love the view of the ocean and to roar of the ocean, to get closer you would have to pitch a tent. sunrises are so beautiful. there are bar, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance, publix is 1/2 mile away. it's an older resort but very well maintained. although its close to a major street(A1A) there is no problem with noise. most of the rooms have ocean view, but if you walk out of your room like you are leaving you can stand right on the walkway and get a great view of sunset. mon-fri they have activities that are family friendly and not expensive. also the tiki bar has a very nice happy hour. i was there for 2 weeks and rarely left the property. i would recommend if you want a family friendly resort, more quiet than daytona, which is only a few miles south if you are a party person. will be returning next year

This was one of the best run and cleanest resorts where we have stayed. There were lots of activities to keep us occupied and the location was perfect for activities in Orlando or in the Daytona area. Many of the people with whom we spoke had been going to the Royal Floridian Resort for 20+ years, we will definitely be coming back.

There was plenty of room for myself, my wife, and my two daughters.

My wife and I spent Thanksgiving week here at the Royal Floridian. We have visited here in the past (summertime) and it was a totally different experience. The summer crowds were gone but the everyday resort activities were open as usual. The resort has morning coffee everyday, afternoon bingo and a wine and cheese bingo on Wednesdays. With a large deck between the building and ocean one can enjoy miniature golf, shuffle board, basketball, tiki bar, swimming pool and hot tub. There are many beach lounge chairs and chairs with tables and umbrellas.
Our room a 1 bedroom had a king bed, full kitchen, bath, living area and a balcony with an ocean view. All rooms come with an ocean view or oceanside balcony.
While here we enjoyed cooking on the barbecue's. The resort has many local restaurants and attractions nearby. Daytona Beach minutes away, Kennedy Space center and St Augustine a one hour drive. The resort is well maintained with friendly workers that treat you as family.

Positives: on the beach, many units face the beach. Units are well equipped and clean.

Negatives: extremely noisy location. Lots of concrete and plastic furniture between you and the beach, so you need a relatively higher unit. Did I mention the noise?

Great ocean view.

We had a nice comfortable suite with a great view. The chairs and umbrellas provided are a nice plus. We also enjoyed the grilled burgers and fries two days a week and the ice cream three days a week. There was a modest charge for these, but it was well worth it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a nice view of a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral.

Best thing I can say is we can't wait to come back. Be sure to see the magician on Wed nights. The activities group had lots of fun and food for us.

Air conditioning was outdated at times noisey or freezing parking very poor grounds were very nice pool area was very nice view beautiful overall very nice timeshare

This is a pushy rude timeshare with zero food zero COFFEE SUGAR OR CREAM IN THE ENTIRE BUILDING.

Love this resort. Never go anywhere else when in Ormond Beach. Staff is so friendly. Rooms are always clean and stocked.

We are beyond thrilled to have this beautiful resort just down the street from our home on the other side of the intercoastal. Great for entertaining family and friends. Felt like home but with the ocean footsteps away, two pools and two jacuzzis/hot tubs, towels and a cool little workout area. Quality staff too!

People were very friendly and helpful enjoyed our stay the only bad part was things closing down too early couldn’t swim in outside pool after 8 and tiki bar closed at six.

Excellent ocean front get away with the convenience of a condo! The full kitchen was perfect for saving money on eating out. We brought our waffle iron and espresso latte machine and had home cooked breakfast and coffee every morning with eggs, sausage and chicken wings from Publix which is right up the street. The beach access ramp is literally right next to the property(4x4 only cuz it is soft sand but we have a monster truck so it was perfect). Will definitely be staying here from now on when we want a get away. Only complaint I really had was the televisions are old school, not smart tvs with digital options but we spent most of the time on the beach or at the pool anyways so that’s not a deal breaker.
