Hard to Beat in Pricey Amsterdam
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of options, made to order. The room was spacious, and had all the amenities that I appreciate, like a security safe, minibar, coffee service, quality towels, superior housekeeping service, windows that open, nice toiletries, and plush robes. . The staff was outstanding. The mattress was a bit firm for me, but the pillows were great and I slept well. The location is hard to beat, in the western canal district and adjacent to the Jordaan. You definitely pay more to sleep in this neighborhood, but I enjoyed it and The Toren was a good value for the neighborhood and for the level of accommodation.

Cons:

A plush mattress topper would elevate the comfort of the mattress.

Loved it.
Pros:

I highly recommend this hotel. The location was fantastic, three blocks to the Anne Frank House. The front desk staff were friendly and went above and beyond to give us recommendations for local Dutch and Indonesian restaurants we were looking into. The hotel had so many decorative details that I appreciated and a welcoming lobby area. Rarely do I feel I want to return to a place just to stay at a hotel again but I felt that way here. Definitely want to go back.

Lovely property with inconsistent service
Pros:

This property is absolutely stunning. The location is great and the breakfast staff is fantastic.

Cons:

Details were ignored. Tissues were empty and not refilled. Shampoo and lotion bottles were not replenished and request to replenish the mini bar with sparkling water instead of sodas was ignored despite three requests.

The most elegant and beautiful hotel in the heart of Amsterdam!
Pros:

Everything! The most beautiful architecture and every detail was perfect. A lovely breakfast and the nicest staff. I felt pampered! It was also located on a canal and very central to everything! Made my stay in Amsterdam wonderful!

Definitely worth staying!
Pros:

The location is amazing. It is located on a quiet street that is right next to the Jordaan district and the main tourist areas. The room was a lot larger than I was expecting also. the small room has a place to sit at a table in addition to the beds. The bathroom is also huge and the bathtub is really nice!!

Cons:

The wifi was not the best, but not a deal breaker as we did not need it for anything!

Almost perfect

Cons:

I did not like that I did not realize there are 2 buildings and also that I had a very large heavy bag - for a 4 weeks trip - and I had to take it on stairs up and down - narrow steep stairs in this second building to reach elevator and the room. Staff was nice but at arrival was a kind lady with a hurt arm so it was a very interesting exercise with the luggage - going up in main building ding - down from main building - up on second building down from elevator and up the stairs to the room….
