Location, high ceiling of the room, bed comfort.
There is no tap in the toilette.
The shower does not have any door on entrance, you hear the sound of the upper level rooms bath and fan noise when you sleep

Das Frühstück ist fantastisch, wird serviert (kein Buffet), ist wirklich ausgezeichnet mit guten Zutaten.

De kamer was wat steriel voor ons gevoel. Maar dat was de stijl van de kamer.
Locatie en parkeergarage dichtbij.
Ramen konden niet open, airco maakt een ratelend geluid en de wc deur kon niet dicht.
Hotel heeft een top restaurant. Kregen een update van de kamer met zicht op het plein en museum. Locatie van het hotel was top!! Dichtbij leuke winkels, musea, restaurantjes en bars.

I initially chose Hotel Pilar from my shortlist because it had coffee machines in each room - so very happy I did so, I was majorly happy with the neighbourhood - a super gorgeous arty area, with loads of fantastic bars and restaurants everywhere - yet only a 20/25 min (flat) walk into all the touristy bits, or much quicker on a rented bike or the tram from right outside. The KMSA museum is right across the road and worth a visit, also gorgeous river and park land a couple of mins walk away.
The hotel itself is beautiful, lots of cool prints and artsy features everywhere, feels small and boutiquey - a really calm and relaxing vibe. I was in room 11 on the first floor which had the wooden bath (not very comfy to sit in! But loved it nonetheless). Huge comfy bed, lovely staff. The restaurant and bar are shut Mondays and Tuesdays which was fine by me as so many options right outside the door and nearby.
Some of the paintwork in my room could have done with a touch up - a little bit weathered.
Ruime en comfortabele kamer, hedendaagse en smaakvolle inrichting. Uitstekende uitvalsbasis om Antwerpen te bezoeken!
Hier komen we zeker terug!!
De hoofdkussens waren erg dik en nogal stug.
