Lovely management and staff who were very respectful of guests privacy and relaxation.

Ideal area to explore the old town with ease. Many good restaraunts and bars close by.

Great location and a friendly receptionist. Unfortunately, the spa wasn't in operation. Also, our laundry was returned wet and smelling of cigarettes.

We had a lovely room, we would have liked some outdoor lounging furniture on the roof terrace above our room….we could see other rooms had lovely outdoor lounging furniture…this was a little upsetting to not have one of those rooms. We paid a premium price and felt we had a premium stay….so will recommend with pleasure.

This is a really beautiful hotel, great position and very well appointed. The staff were delightful. A couple of points, the stairs are very steep and there is no lift. If you are elderly or disabled this is probably not the place for you! Breakfast was disappointing and there is no night porter. Our view was over a building site and we were woken up by very loud drilling at 07:30. I expected a little more at this price having stayed at a fair few luxury hotels in Crete. There are only 4 rooms so it is an interesting business model. Disappointed overall.

Rethymnon just made one of those must see lists you run across on the internet every now and then. And unlike a lot of those stories, this one is absolutely true. You gotta see if. And if you're lucky enough to make the trip, the Bellagio is the place to stay. It's beautiful, just like all the reviews say. But what really made it memorable was the way we were welcomed by our two hosts. They could not have been nicer or more helpful. Saying goodbye was tough.

The Bellagio Hotel is a real gem. It is a beautifully renovated old Ottoman residence. It’s located in the middle of the historic district of Rethymnon, within a short walking distance of all the important sights of the city. We arrived too early to check in but the two wonderful hosts, Catherine and Evgenia invited us to have coffee and pastries which we waiting for our room to be ready. They were very friendly and showed us an interesting book detailing the history of the house. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful. I strongly recommend choosing the Bellagio Boutique Hotel for anyone looking for a classy place to stay in Rethymnon.

Our problem was that we could not have stayed longer! From the moment we were welcomed into the Bellagio Boutique Hotel, to the day we said “good-bye”, we were treated as though we were the only guests in the hotel. Catherine and Eveyenia were wonderful. I loved Catherine’s admonition to call with any request whatsoever. “I sleep with one eye open” she said with a smile. In the room, a small card made the point again, “If you wake up in the middle of the night with a dream, call me and I’ll tell you what it means”.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, and yet is perfectly quiet for sleeping. Our room, Erotiko, had a good shower, air conditioning and a comfortable bed. Plus a private Hammam, which we enjoyed. Breakfasts were delicious, with a large variety of choices.

We took advantage of Catherine’s offer of help on the morning of our departure. My wife’s shoe had broken as we explored the city. “Is there somewhere that we could have it repaired”, we asked. An hour later the shoe was like new again.

Our time in the Bellagio, although short, was lovely and memorable.

Great attention by staff. Very quiet room. Located in preserved Venetian home.

Wonderful visit! We got in much later than expected but the hostess stayed up until midnight to greet us and welcome us in. Wonderful location right in the middle of the lively city!

We loved this hotel! Each room seemed to be so unique and the combined modern and old architecture was so beautifully done. The breakfast was delicious and eaten in a pretty outdoor courtyard area. The hotel was well situated in the old town, and a 10 minute walk from the bus station. Best of all was the wonderful staff; Catherine was so helpful and friendly, as was the other staff member we met (whose name I do not know how to spell!). If we were ever in Rethymno again, we will certainly stay here. We highly recommend Bellagio Boutique Hotel!

We loved this hotel, the whole experience was perfect thanks to the hospitality and attention to detail. We arrived to complimentary cold white wine and recommendations from Cathrine about the area which were great! The room was comfortable with cold water, fridge and good air conditioning, the bed was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was outstanding, the best we have had on our 3 week trip to Greece.. fantastic choice and eggs cooked to order.. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, a real gem!

Catherine and Eveyenia made me feel like family. Catherine greeted me with tea and cookies, then sat down to go over a map of the city. My room was charming with original artwork. Evyenia is a gem who makes decorative plates of food to accompany your wine! One of the most charming places I've stayed anywhere.

We stayed at the Bellagio for three nights and were more than impressed by the whole experience. Catherine and Eugenia were very helpful and warm. It was apparent they felt very proud of their hotel. The room was spotless, and food was excellent. Our stay was perfect. Thank you

lo staff stato competente, comunicativo e simpatico, la colazione di buona qualità , la posizione centralissima. Ci sono pero dei difetti, la nostra camera si e rivelata rumorosa, situata al primo piano sopra un ristorante, c ' è stato silenzio solo dalle 2 alle 6 di notte. La camera nuova, moderna e ben arredata è pero un po piccola, per esempio non c' è posto dove posare le valigie. Il bagno, forse concepito da un architetto pazzoide , ha una grande finestra che da sulle scale interne, c'è una tendina è vero, ma chiunque salga le scale puo vedere mentre fai il bagno. La tele funziona con difficoltà

We had re-visit to this hotel and was welcomed as friends. This was in fact 3 years after our first visit, but they still remembered us. We had an upgraded room and the service was as always excellent. The breakfast here is something to look forward to.

We have stayed in many special properties in Europe, this hotel was truly special, nothing is too much trouble, Catherine and Evgenia are always on hand to make your stay a happy one.
Great location in the heart of Rethymno town, very easy to walk everywhere in Rethmyno.
Cathrine and Ms. Evgenia make a great team and obviously have a lot of respect for each other.
I think this is part of what makes staying in the Bellagio an experience you will never forget.
Catherine immediately insisted moving our car, to a free parking lot, helping with our luggage back to the hotel (A good 10 minute walk).
Parking is available a short walk away. Just a heads up, there is a farmers market on Thursday
We stayed in room 5 (Erotika) which has a Hamman, and our own seating area terrace. Room was clean, had everything you could want, even a jacuzzi tub.
For us the king size bed was too firm for our liking.
Catherine immediately brought us a bed topper when we mentioned.
Breakfast, the orange juice was delicious and fresh, a large choice of fruit, cereals and traditional sweet and savoury Greek pastries, cheeses, cooked meats and breads. They will cook eggs as you want.
Ms. Evgenia made us a wonderful omlette each morning.
We dropped a fork, 20 seconds later Catherine brought us a fork? How did she know it was a fork we dropped? She is good, LoL!!!

The hotel is situated in the heart of the city. It is small and beautiful. The rooms are georgeous, classy and have everything you need for a most comfortable stay. The area is close to historic sights. There are beautiful little streets with hidden places to eat. Bars , shops and sea front are within easy reach of the hotel . The staff are soo helpfull and the information given before arrival is easy to understand and very helpful. We would love to return
