Pros:

View was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Loved the experience! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Looooved the views and setting in the forest!

Cons:

We stayed in the villa and there were some cleanliness issues such as spiderwebs in the windows and a moldy smell, that I wouldn’t expect in their most premium room type.

Pros:

Ich habe nicht gefrühstückt, als ich gesehen habe, dass es nur Filterkaffee gibt. Das war mir zu banal.

Cons:

Die Karte des Restaurants hat mich nicht angesprochen. Auch das Restaurant selbst war eher altbacken und wenig ansprechend. Die gesamte Ausstattung könnte mit wenigen Eingriffen sehr aufgewertet werden! Bei Bedarf unterstütze ich das gerne mit konkreten Ideen.

Relaxing and delicious. We dined in for dinner and breakfast was awesome.
Pros:

The views were amazing and its peaceful surroundings.
Friendly staff.

Cons:

The steep driveway into the property but when you arrived it was awesome.

Cons:

Das Frühstücksbuffet… und der Kaffee der serviert wurde, war leider extrem schlecht.
Man hätte andere Kaffeevarianten wie Cappuccino extra kaufen müssen, ebenso Eierspeisen nur mit Aufpreis.
Bim inkludierten Frühstücksbuffet war aus meiner Sicht nichts nahrhaftes vorhanden.

Pros:

The gate villa was excellent with spacious accommodation and a huge balcony overlooking the gardens with tremendous views. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The food was first class (both breakfast and dinner).

Cons:

More use could be made of the pool with proper furniture and the addition of a spa bath/jacuzzi.
The “spa” label is merely facial treatments for the ladies. The gym could be improved with more equipment.

A peaceful and beautiful retreat in nature - perfect for a relaxing girls night getaway.
Pros:

Stunning location surrounded by lush green forest with beautiful views over Auckland city. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming - 10 out of 10. Dinner was excellent and the rooms felt authentic and cosy. The atmosphere is peaceful and there are many wonderful walking tracks nearby.

Amazing location. Marketed incorrectly. Needs revamp
Pros:

Location. Amazing views. Comfortable beds. soft towels. Updated bathroom. Nice shower.

Cons:

Scary long driveway. Very underwhelming. Looks run down. Old 1980s decor. Loose floor tiles in shower. Also needs regrouping. Very low ceilings are dark brown timber, so feel enclosing. But I think we were placed in the old section. New section probably nicer. Breakfast choices were very limited. Esp as they call themselves a spa resort. Lawn mower was started up at 9am just outside dining area. The sound and petrol smell disturbed our peace. Other patrons also looked annoyed or laughed with disbelief. Difficulty communicating with staff with limited English skills. Isn’t a wellness spa.

Pros:

Beautifull Surroundings.
Staff were friendly

Cons:

No Air conditioning or fans.
Food was delicious but the restaurant was so.hot it was uncomfortable.
Toilet rolls and tissues not renewed.
People in room next door had no consideration about noise. Outside late smoking and talking, letting door bang going in and out.
