Pros:

1. Restaurant - breakfasts, lunches wonderful with nice views over garden and swimming pool
2. The hotel itself is very cozy and attractive. Rooms clean and comfortable
3. Very well-situated: around there are places to walk, to see. Walking path along the river, caves in the mountain nearby, natural park Cabarceno. Everything you need for relaxed vacation

Proper hotel that meets solid standard without 'oohs and aahs' on the overall experience
Pros:

The rooms were quite good and lived up to our expectation. We expected the location to be more rural, but the situation is more in a small village. There is a big garden and pool to relax, a piano bar and a restaurant. Across the street there is an additional terrace and restaurante which looked particularly nice in the evening. Parking is convenient and checking in and out went smooth. For us this was a proper stop-over address for one night.

Cons:

The check-in was functional with not much additional info or a genuine welcoming feeling. The pool area felt somewhat outdated and basic and misses the 'luxury atmosphere' it could probably easily have when more attention would be spent do decorating the area. The wooden bulkhead as terrace divider for instance has had its best days. We were not allowed on the adjacent terrace across the street in our bathrobes. In any high-end wellness hotel this is no issue, so why is it here? We needed to change clothes, came back in swimming shorts and t-shirt and now all was fine. Wine glassed were filled only half-way. These are such small simple things, that beg the question: what is your focus; adhering to policy or Customer Delight?

Breakfast is in shifts, this is good, because the room is too small for all to join. The offering is well varied, quality is ok, but the experience is average. It feels more like a functional fast-food breakfast than a 4-star experience.

Other then the terrace across the street, there is no bar or place to 'chill' during the day. There is a piano bar, that was closed at day-time. This is not bad, but experience wise, we felt a bit lost in this place.

Pros:
