It was an excellent stay in an absolutley beautiful city.
Pros:

The Palazzo is in an excellent location, although a little confusing to access. Our first impression of the property was WOW!! The staff were extremely helpful and so nice. Our room was absolutley huge and with a view to die for. If you go you must look around the whole palazzo as it is like a museum inside. Breakfast was just ok, nothing spectacular. I would definatley recommend and would stay here again myself.

Tutto. L’hotel è un’antica dimora trasformata in hotel con camere diverse tra loro ma bellissime
Merita soffermarsi ad ammirare la collezione di quadri e fotografie appese su tutte le pareti. Un grazie allo staff che ci ha aiutati a districarci nelle strette vie di Matera e che ci ha dato suggerimenti x le visite e i ristoranti . Bravi

A lovely hotel in a great location
Pros:

A lovely hotel, situated close to the Duomo and very quiet. The building is rather grand with some almost museum like rooms. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Our large room was very comfortable with a lovely view over the country side. Breakfast was excellent. Shops and restaurants are an easy walk.

Cons:

Driving to the hotel could be a problem if you don't follow their directions. The streets are very narrow and, at busy times, very crowded with sightseers. At 30 euros a night on-site, parking was very expensive but made life easier.
