Italian elegance and very large room. Good location
Pros:

The old world elegance of the rooms. The location was great. The staff gave excellent instructions on how to arrive and park in their courtyard.

Cons:

The lighting was very poor in the bathroom. A few burnt out lights.

A bit faded but still glorious
Pros:

The hotel is right in the old centre of town so easy walks to interesting sites. The staff were very helpful and provided a great recommendation for dinner a short walk away. The old salons on the first floor were amazing. Parking at the hotel was convenient, and the staff guided us over the phone to find the place when we got lost. The rooms were air conditioned. Breakfast had a decent selection of foods and good coffee.

Cons:

Whilst the room had a kettle, it had only glasses and no cups, tea or coffee provided. The room, a junior suite, was spacious but a little tired and the double room that our friend booked seemed more recently renovated. The roof terrace was a great spot for a drink in the evening but the bar was not operating - we brought our own drinks instead.

Pros:

The location is amazing. The staff were helpful, especially Ivan, who was a superstar. They parked our car for us in the courtyard, which is otherwise difficult to access.

Cons:

There was a discotheque party right next to our room until midnight on our first night. No compensation was offered.

El salón de desayunos es espectacular, aunque un poco caluroso en los dias que estuvimos en plena ola de calor

Cons:

El baño, en especial la ducha, estaba en muy mal estado
la habitación necesita pintura...

ממוקם מצויין בכיכר הדיומו. חניה צמודה בתוך חצר המלון. חדר גדול ומרווח

החדר מיושן . אין חלון בחדר ואין אוורור. הצוות לא לבבי ולא חייכן. ארוחת הבוקר מ 8.00 עד 10.00 בשעה 9.00 בבוקר מרבית קערות ההגשה היו ריקות ולא מילאו אותן יותר. ארוחת הבוקר אכזבה והיתה דלה ולא איכותית . השירות לא חביב ולא אדיב. הצוות לא חייכן.

Une nuit dans un véritable palais, un séjour inoubliable!
Pros:

La chambre était en fait un véritable appartement magnifique dans le palais qui ressemble plus à un musée qu'à un hôtel : statues, tableaux, mobilier d'époque...Les fenêtres de la salle de bain donnaient sur la vallée du Torrente Gravina avec une vue superbe.
Le palais est situé dans la vieille ville et jouxte la basilique, la proximité avec la vieille ville, les restaurants...
Un parking surveillé et économique à dix minutes à pied de l'hôtel. Il est toutefois possible de venir en voiture dans la cour du palais, mais nous avons préféré laisser la voiture dans le parking publique à proximité.
Possibilité d'aller sur le toit terrasse afin d'admirer la vue sur la vallée et la vieille ville pour prendre des photos ou profiter du coucher de soleil.

Absolut außergewöhnliche historische Location
Pros:

Eine außergewöhnliche Location - mitten in dieser außergewöhnlichen Stadt - in einem Palazzo, in dem die Zeit still zu stehen scheint. Nicht aber im Komfort! Alles perfekt restauriert, absolut beeindruckend! Auch die Zimmer im Steingewölbe mit direktem Blick auf die Altstadt. Der Weg zum Frühstück ist eine Zeitreise, durch unzählige prunkvolle Säle mit Gemälden und Kunst an allen Ecken, sehr beeindruckend. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die Dachterrasse mit grandiosem Ausblick über ganz Matera. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und durften unser Motorrad sogar im Innenhof parken. In wenigen Gehminuten waren wir in der historischen Altstadt oder konnten Szenen aus Mel Gibsons Passion nachvollziehen. Der Aufenthalt hat uns ehr gut gefallen!

Historisch genieten op top locatie
Pros:

De locatie is geweldig vlakbij het Piazza Duomo. Het hotel heeft een unieke historische uitstraling waar je het gevoel krijgt in een paleis te overnachten.
Het terras op de derde verdieping geeft een prachtig uitzicht op Matera.
De classic kamer is prima en heeft comfortabele bedden en is voorzien van airconditioning.
Ontbijt is erg goed verzorgd.
Parkeren kan tegen betaling op de binnenplaats van het hotel. Het personeel is vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam.

Rimelig plads og dejligt bad; stille og centralt.
Dejlig seng og renlighed. Ikke dårlig morgenmad. Stedet lignede et kunstmuseum, med masser af dejlig malerier på væggene.
