My wife and I had a wonderful stay here during our recent visit to Sri Lanka, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip.
The room was comfortable and well maintained, the swimming pool overlooking the Mahaweli River was beautiful, and the views were simply breathtaking. The spacious garden offered plenty of picturesque spots for relaxing and taking photos.
What made our stay truly special, however, was the exceptional hospitality. The staff made us feel completely at home—it genuinely felt like we were visiting close relatives. This is Sri Lankan hospitality at its finest.
A special thank you to Dhanusha, who went out of his way to check on every table and ensure every guest was comfortable. Borgan, our room attendant, was outstanding—after I accidentally left my spectacles behind at checkout, he came running after us to return them before we left. We also greatly appreciated the kindness and friendliness of Nijini, Roshan, and Anusha, who all contributed to making our stay so enjoyable.
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to couples and families looking for a relaxing stay with stunning views and truly outstanding service.

The service was great. The food was at the right portion and labeled accordingly related to calories. The pool facilities are also good.
Very good food on the restaurant, room was comfortable. Toiletwas stinkingdue to plumbing.. Apart from that, everything was fine. 5 star experience overall

Amazing property with lush green views of the valley and the river. The lobby is grand and welcoming, with live music in the evening. The swimming pool is huge. The breakfast hall over looks the pool and the river which is absolute delight!
The rooms are super spacious and tidy. We had a balcony with the river view, every morning was a delight to just stand and soak in the beauty of nature.
The bathroom was clean and adequate!
The best part about our stay was the Staff. Everyone, right from the reception to concierge, the restaurant staff was extremely polite and helpful. They made our stay extremely special, especially the anniversary and birthday that we celebrated there!! Will 100% come back again!

The winding roads towards the hotel which I understand it is not belong to the hotel and we can't do anything about it.

Lovely welcome. They staff ensured we had a joint room with our children. Lovely staff. The open bar/lounge area that was linked to the pool and views to one the river were stunning.
