The hotel was great and the staff was great!
The air con in the room was faulty but other than that it was fantastic.
As usual, all staff were brilliant and especially Sasi, Jayanth and Gamini in the restaurant who gave us exceptional treatment. The manager Jaliya and Srimali were also very attentive. The rooms are always spotless as is the hotel. We enjoyed the boat trip organised at the hotel along the Kandy river.
Im Cinnamon Citadel gefällt uns alles. Super freundliches Personal, dass auch in besonderen Situationen sehr entgegenkommend war.Traumhafte Lage am Mahaweli Fluss. Das Hotel liegt ruhig und doch ist man schnell in Kandy.
Wir waren schon öfter in diesem Hotel und werden auch wiederkommen.

Enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere near the huddle and bustle of kandy. Came home to our cleaned room to find a menagerie of towel animals left by our room boy Ajith.

Stunning location, our room overlooked the river, got to say i wouldn't want a ground floor room, lots of birds visible from our balcony, very peaceful, room was huge, but a little bit tired, though not much. Good sized swimming pool, staff were extremely attentive, food was very good, especially enjoyed the breakfast. I would go back here. One thing to note is it's a bit out of the city centre

Lovely pool area overlooking the river, large rooms with balcony, great bar/lounge area for cocktails with live music . Good choice at breakfast. A little bit out of Kandy centre so we didn’t venture into the town for our evening meals. We ate in the à la carte restaurant Chutneys, the food and service was lovely, although it was very quiet so lacked a bit of atmosphere. We heard there had been guest cancellations due to flights cancelled from the Middle East. Overall it was a lovely stay and would thoroughly recommend this hotel, wish we had more than two nights!
A little bit out of Kandy town
We have a wonderful stay at Cinnamon Citadel Kandy. The hotel has a beautiful location and a very relaxing atmosphere.
The room was very clean and comfortable, and I really appreciated the excellent housekeeping service. The housekeeping team maintained the room well and replaced the amenities on time, which made the stay very convenient.
A special thank you to the Front Office staff for the warm welcome, smooth check-in, and efficient check-out process. Their hospitality made a great first and last impression.
The restaurant staff were very friendly, always smiling, and provided great service throughout our meals. I also want to appreciate the kitchen team for the delicious buffet and the tasty food served at the Chutney outlet.
Overall, the room quality, food, staff friendliness, location, and cleanliness were all excellent. I highly recommend Cinnamon Citadel Kandy to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Kandy
