Pros:

Amazing setting - very tranquil in a busy city. The buffet was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. We had lovely attentive staff throughout our stay.

Pros:

We had an awesome stay at Cinnamon Citadel Kandy. The food was great, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the calm surroundings with the breathtaking view of the Mahaweli River made it truly special.

Overall, a lovely hotel, with a great atmosphere, great staff, great view and amazing vibe.
Pros:

Last minute booking as we did not like our original hotel and it was a fantastic stay. They greeted us with welcome drinks, and the lobby area had a beautiful vibe , showing live sport and having live music. The view from the room was pleasant, and the vibe around the pool was very relaxing, I spent one morning just sipping drinks by the pool!

Breakfast was delicious, as was the dinner options. They had an efficient laundry service and they had two different types of plug sockets. Rooms were comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Location was decent, about 10-20 minute journey into town centre.

Cons:

I was staying in a room with a couple of my friends and we did ask multiple times to have a second set of keys as we had different plans at times but this never got resolved and in the end I would just leave my keys at reception and told them that my friends would take it. Not ideal.

3日間自家用車を駐車場に停めていましたが、木の下だったため、樹液が車体に付着して汚れが酷かったです。洗車サービスなどあったら良かったと思いました。

Pros:

Fabulous views of the River and plentiful wildlife. Room wonderful, only a 400 rupee Tuk Tuk to town.
Buffet and al a Carte Food was fantastic.
Big shout to Sampath from Housekeeping, his special touches made our stay.

Cons:

It is a fabulous place yes but not worth the extra you pay for the "Cinnamon" name compared to other 5 star places on the Island..
The Indian restaurant was average at best.

Great hotel, tucked away, superb meals
Pros:

Large, clean and comfortable room, with all the facilities you expect (fridge, safe, tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary water, toiletries). Our room had a nice balcony with lakeside view. Friendly and helpful staff (special mention to our room attendant Borjan). Fantastic setting, with a pool.

Great buffet breakfast and dinner, with a huge variety of options. Catered well for vegetarians.

This hotel is used by a lot of big tour groups, which is testament to it's popularity.

Cons:

This is a big sprawling hotel, spread out over a large area. Depending on which room you are allocated, you may have a long walk from reception to your room.

It's also tucked away and a little out of town, so you need a tuk tuk to get you into the main part of the city.

Schöne Lage am Wasser und mit Blick ins Grüne, freundliche Mitarbeiter, Pool-Bereich schön gestaltet

Cons:

Bei den Buffets ist die Auswahl riesig, die Qualität aber allenfalls mittelmäßig. Die Essenszeiten sind zudem merkwürdig (Frühstück sehr früh von 06:30 bis 09:30 Uhr und Abendessen sehr spät von 07:30 Uhr bis 09:30 Uhr). Die Zimmer sind renovierungsbedürftig: Schwarze Fliesen im Bad sind unhygienisch, da man nicht sehen kann, wie es um die Sauberkeit steht. Gleiches gilt für die braunen Teppichböden in den Flurbereichen, die sehr alt und fleckig aussehen. Zudem hatten wir eine Kakerlake im Badezimmer (wofür wir allerdings Discount bekommen haben). Das Verhältnis von Preis zu Leistung ist insgesamt mangelhaft.
