Pros:

Wir waren nun bereits zum zweiten Mal im Waldhaus Jakob, diesmal im Neubau – was sich preislich definitiv gelohnt hat. Als Familie haben wir das Hotel bewusst gewählt, da es sowohl fußläufig zum See als auch zur Therme und zur Fähre nach Meersburg liegt. Die Zimmer im Neubau sind modern eingerichtet und bieten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Cons:

Weniger gut gefallen hat uns der morgendliche Lärm, da ab etwa 9 Uhr bereits Bauarbeiten begonnen haben. Auch die Sauberkeit entsprach leider nicht ganz unseren Erwartungen – das Bettlaken war fleckig und unter dem Sofa lag noch ein T-Shirt, das offensichtlich nicht von uns war. Der Blick zum See könnte vom Balkon aus noch etwas besser sein, was jedoch nur ein eher unwesentlicher Kritikpunkt ist. Das Personal haben wir insgesamt als eher zurückhaltend wahrgenommen.

Schöne Lage, sehr ruhig u angenehm.

Cons:

Ich hatte extra nach einem Zimmer mit Seeblick gefragt u auch angeboten noch einen Aufschlag zu zahlen. Mein Partner hatte Geburtstag u es sollte eine Überraschung sein. Die Antwort vom Hotel: sie werden ein schönes Zimmer im 3. Stock mit Seeblick bekommen.
Wir hatten dann ein Zimmer im 1. Stock Altbau. Auf meine Nachfrage warum es schief gegangen ist, konnten wir uns ein Zimmer im 2. Stock mit der gleichen wenigen Aussicht ansehen. Ich war sehr enttäuscht. Eine Möglichkeit im Neubau hätte es bestimmt gegeben, lt. Homepage vom Hotel waren noch viele Zimmer frei.
Das Frühstück war ok, wir sollten uns zwischen 2 Frühstückszeiten entscheiden, daß hat uns sehr gewundert.

Die Lage direkt am See ist hervorragend.

Cons:

Leider gibt es Konfitüre und Honig nur fertig abgepackt. Die Parkplätze sind deutlich zu wenige.
