Otelde genel olarak keyifli bir konaklama geçirdim. Konumu oldukça güzeldi ve merkezi yerlere ulaşım rahattı. Personel son derece yardımsever ve ilgiliydi, özellikle kahvaltı sırasında bize yardımcı olan Alem’e ayrıca teşekkür etmek isterim; güler yüzlü ve çok nazikti.
Kahvaltı yeterli ve lezzetliydi, beklentimizi karşıladı. Odanın temizliği genel olarak iyiydi, bu konuda sorun yaşamadık.
Ancak özel otopark olduğu söylenmesine rağmen, otele ait olmayan yakındaki başka bir otoparka yönlendirilmemiz biraz kafa karıştırıcı oldu. Ayrıca müsait olmasına rağmen manzaralı bir oda verilmemesi ve odamızın manzarasının pek iyi olmaması küçük bir hayal kırıklığı yarattı.
Genel olarak memnun kaldım, bazı küçük detaylar iyileştirilirse çok daha keyifli bir konaklama olabilir.
Osoblje je vrlo prijatno i ljubazno, komunikativno i spremno za pomoć. Lokacija hotela je dobra, povezana je gradskim saobraćajem, ali vrlo mirna i prijatna za boravak.
Doručak je solidan, standardno hotelski, ali bi mogao biti sadržajniji. Sistem grijanja je vrlo loš, klima se ne može podesiti, a kada se uspije, teško može zagrijati sobu. U kupatilu je nedostupna topla voda na lavabou.

The receptionist Mrs. Nikolič was really welcoming from the very beginning.
The beds are soo comfortable.
Overall the stay in "Astoria Design Hotel" was really pleasant.

I was taken back to the days with Basil from Faulty Towers trying to comfort each and everyone of the guest at the same time. The young man in the receptionist answered the phone, ordered taxis, apologising for not clean rooms and during it all he helped me getting a sim card to work with my phone. Meanwhile all his colleagues were falling apart around him, forgetting basic things in the rooms, not knowing what to do and doing nothing.
It was absolutely the perfect atmosphere for a backpacker travelling though Sofia for a one nighter.
And since I had to depart really early I did not get the breakfast I paid for, so they packed a brunch bag for me handed over at checkout - amazing service by the young man!

Personal amable, simpático y servicial. Fácil entenderse en inglés y permitieron dejar mi maleta al hacer checkout para recogerla más tarde.
Habitación correcta, equipamiento completo, incluso reponían si se te acaba algo. Proporcionan agua, y café/té de forma gratuita para preparar en la habitación. Temperatura de la habitación óptima con radiadores y aire acondicionado disponibles.
Desayuno sencillo pero completo. Como alérgico al huevo pude comer una buena variedad ya que había utensilios separados para servirse la comida de cada sección.
Las sábanas de la cama eran pequeñas, si en lugar de viajar solo hubiera ido con otra persona (la cama era doble) hubiera sido difícil taparse los dos.
Si bien no afectaba a la temperatura de la habitación, las juntas de las ventanas estaban algo desgastadas y si te acercabas notabas como entraba un poco de aire frío del exterior.
Por añadir algo al desayuno, me hubiera gustado que la máquina de café permitiera preparar chocolate o que hubiera algún tipo de cacao soluble para la leche.
