From Brussels - E19 or A12 to Antwerp From Ghent - E17 to Antwerp - Follow direction Breda ( Netherlands). On the ring road around the city take exit 3 ‘Borgerhout’. - At the traffic lights turn left ( N184, Plantin & Moretuslei). - Continue the N184 until after the second railway bridge and continue to the next intersection (central park). Turn right in Quinten Matsijslei. - Continue on Quinten Matsijslei and turn right in Korte Herentalsestraat (4th. street on the right hand side). - Continue until the end of Korte Herentalsestraat (T-intersection) and turn left into Lange Herentalsestraat which changes into Appelmansstraat. - The parking entrance and the Hyllit Hotel is located at 1640 ft on the left hand side.

Opening hours of swimming pool is Monday till Sunday from 7 am till 9 pm.

Great location, fantastic staff very helpful with costumer service. My initial room had a WiFi issue and they very promptly upgrade me to a better room. Very kind. Good breakfast. As a woman travelling alone felt very safe and comfortable. Had hair drier in the room.

Nice room...but
Pros:

Great location near Centraal Station. Nice room and friendly staff. Very comfy bed.

Cons:

Our room was spacious and otherwise clean but the carpet was really dirty in a couple of areas. Seemed like an unduccessful attempt was made to clean it. We kept our shoes on rather than walk barefoot.

Super locatie, super uitstraling als je binnen komt maar de kamer zelf is echt niet best.

De locatie was top!

Cons:

De hygiëne was niet al te best. Lange donkere haren door de hele kamer, een vlek in het dekbed. Het hoofdbord van het bed was vies. Het bad was meermaals aangesmeerd met vulling om gaatjes op te vullen. De douchekop zat geen kracht op. Bedden alsof je op een trampoline ligt. Ik hou zelf van een hard matras dus dat kan persoonlijk zijn.
Verrassing van €50 borg bij aankomst. Dat staat (of ik heb het niet gelezen) nergens aangekondigd.
Alles op de kamer (zelfs een fles spa blauw van €6(!) kost geld. Geen welkomstdrankje niks.

Pros:

Ontzettend vriendelijke medewerkers aan de balie. Behulpzaam bij het in en uitchecken. Ontbijt had iets uitgebreider mogen zijn. Parkeren onder het hotel is een aanrader...Conclusie wij komen zeker weer in dit hotel terug als we naar Antwerpen komen.

Unfortunately, our first night was a very disappointing experience. We were given a room with an air-conditioning system that was clearly not working properly. Despite showing the staff the actual room temperature, they initially insisted that the air conditioning was functioning normally. As a result, our first night was extremely uncomfortable and essentially ruined.

To the hotel’s credit, after the first night they moved us to an upgraded room in the renovated section, with a new air-conditioning system. The difference was enormous, and the upgraded room was significantly better and much more comfortable.

My most important advice to anyone booking this hotel is to make sure you stay in the renovated/upgraded section rather than the older rooms. Based on our experience, the difference between the two is substantial.

I appreciate that the hotel eventually resolved the problem and upgraded us, but it should not have taken a ruined first night for the issue to be acknowledged and addressed.
