No smoke detector
Pros:

Great hotel in a great location. A short walk (~10 min) for snorkelling. Good equipment provided by the hotel at no cost. Also a couple kayaks available. Large rooms. Clean. bright. Coffee & fridge & safe in the room.

My two comments would be that we noticed there was a base on the ceiling, but no smoke detector. When I mentioned it to reception, she acknowledged yes, no detectors. Made me think none of the rooms have one. Disappointing and dangerous.
Also, breakfast provided is very basic continental. Brew coffee, tea, juice, 2 cereals, a fruit, yogurt, and toast. Can order eggs or whatever from a menu at your cost.

The Moana Sands Group always delivers the Perfect Holiday in Paradise
Pros:

The Moana Sands Group is always a great choice.
Across all the properties the Staff are amazing.
The Moana Sands Group as a whole are blessed to have some of the best Staff you will ever come across anywhere.
They really seem to attract and employ people with that X Factor and this goes a long way to making your holiday just that much more special when you look back and realise how they all went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and valued.
And any of the properties in the group deliver the perfect holiday as they each cater for different tastes and budgets.
I have personally stayed at the Beachfront Hotel many times.
This time we were upgraded to the Lagoon Resort in Muri as the Beachfront Hotel was undergoing renovations.
And we got to experience a more luxurious experience which was awesome.
The Resort Manager also took us on a tour of the Villas and Apartment which also look great if you want that option.
Trust me on this, which ever option you choose you won’t be disappointed.

Our stay on the whole was great, great property and location
Pros:

Location is excellent, beach is beautiful, Breakfast was ok, the coffee could be a little stronger and hotter

Cons:

Some guests were too lazy to return their drnk glasses or plates when out by the beach loungers, just left things sitting there for someone else to pick up. Also a couple of people were smoking too close to the units. Also guests leaving their towels on the loungers all day, and then not using them, not considerate. Perhaps guests need to be made aware of being more considerate.

Location was beautiful.

Cons:

we arrived 6.15am but couldnt check-in until.2pm which was extremely annoying especially coming off a 5 hour flight to be told we had to wait till 2pm to check in because our room was not ready. I understand this but I requested for an early check in at the time of booking but unfortunately they ignored our request. Imagine coming off a 5 hour flight, doing laps around the island then having to sleep in your hire car because they wouldnt let you check in before 2pm. Extremely frustrating hence the low rating. other than that ace was very nice.

Best dinner on the island
Pros:

I didn’t stay here but I did come for dinner while on holiday with my friends and it was quite possibly the most amazing food we have ever eaten, everyone’s food was delicious, perfectly cooked and served quickly even with a large group and only 1 chef working! This will be a must stop for dinner every time I visit now

Wonderful Restful Stay
Pros:

Really lovely resort - Adults only is a bonus. Loved the rooms- ours overlooked the pool, and out to the ocean. Stunning. The rooms itself were very well equipped from iroining board, tea, coffee, ice tray, beach towels - very well thought out.
Laguna Restaurant - continental breakfast was very basic, but you could pay for additional cook breakfast. We had a couple of dinners there - mixed results. It was nice enough but wouldnt say outstanding. The cocktails were excellent. The service of both the morning, and evening staff was very warm, and friendly. No lunch available at this restaurant.
Front Office staff were mostly friendly but they were not visible most of the time. One particular front office staff member wasnt very friendly to deal with which really spoilt the overall experience for us. Tried to avoid her if we could.
Housekeeping, and ground staff were friendly and engaging. The housekeeping staff were very attentive cleaning our rooms, always a good morning and a smile.
Overall experience at this resort was lovely and we look forward to returning again. Nearby restaurants is the Nautilius at a neighbouring hotel. The wonderful Saigon Shack, and Crepe Station was outstandingm- only a couple of minutes up the road.

Beautiful
Pros:

Beautiful! The resort, the room, the people - all beautiful!!
The rooms were comfortable and clean! The bed was comfortable and the air con was a blessing! The only down side was the roosters lol! But other than that we could not fault the room.
The breakfast was very very basic… but edible and you could order other things at a cost. The pool area and beach access was lovely!
I would 100% stay again!
