Beautiful, comfortable, clean
Pros:

Our room was absolutely gorgeous, as was the rest of the hotel. It was really clean, and the bed was fantastically comfortable. The bathroom was really nice, with flat surfaces throughout so there's no need to worry about ledges to climb over or trip on. There's also a good amount of shelving/storage in the bathroom which was nice and made getting ready much easier. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic, too. The room does have AC which worked very well. I was also happy that there was a small fridge in the room. The balcony in our room was also really nice, especially since it meant we could open up the door to outside to get some fresh air. Additionally, the staff were all incredibly kind and helpful.

As other reviewers have mentioned, there is significant construction going on on the street and tram tracks immediately in front of the hotel. You'll need to go a little further out of your way to catch the tram, but only by a couple minutes. Navigating the sidewalk along the street can be a little tricky. None of this is the hotel's fault, just something to be aware of especially for folks with mobility issues or other accessibility concerns!

Getting into central Amsterdam is really easy even with the construction, with options for trams and trains within a short walk. There are also quite a few options for restaurants nearby, and a couple grocery stores. The neighborhood is also nice to walk around in.

Cons:

I don't love that the bathroom only had a swinging door instead a real door that fully closes. It made it a little awkward when using the bathroom while sharing a room with someone else. Not the end of the world, just not ideal.

A wonderful stay at The Manor Amsterdam, made even better by a room upgrade, great food.
Pros:

We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which made the stay even better. The room had a lovely view, and the food was excellent throughout our stay. We also appreciated the discounts that were offered to us.

Cons:

Nothing significant stood out — our stay was smooth from start to finish.

NO TIENEN CAFETERIA, EL UNICO RESTAURANTE ES AJENO AL HOTEL, LAS HABITACIONES LAS LIMPIAN SOLO SI LO PIDES Y DE FORMA DEFICIENTE. HABIA OBRAS Y NO SE PODIA ACCEDER AL HOTEL. LA UBICACION ES MALA PARA VISITAR LA CIUDAD, LEJOS DE TODO. HAY ESTACION CERCANA, LOS TAXIS CARISIMOS.

Cama ótima, espaço reformado.

Cons:

Está tendo uma obra enorme na rua em frente ao hotel que simplesmente te trava de dar, tem que dar longas voltas para ir ou voltar de qualquer ligar. Não vale a pena ficar neste hotel neste momento. O hotel so nos avisou da obra im dia antes do checkin. Ao pedir orientações de percurso na recepção a mulher foi bem ríspida e sem paciência de explicar.

Pros:

The staff were very helpful when I needed to extend my stay. They moved and adjusted things without any hassle. Additionally, the room was comfortable despite being a little small a little cramped, but perfect for a hot amsterdam summer. The A/C was a gift.

Cons:

The biggest challenge was some of the decor was very cumbersome. It made it difficult to use any of the nightstands.

Pros:

The room was large (with an extremely high ceiling) and looked very opulent. The complimentary water and biscuits were a nice touch.

Cons:

An unexplained alarm went off at midnight.
The corner of the cupboard containing the safe was exactly at face level above the coffee machine / kettle which made it awkward to use them.
The shower did not have a door/ screen so the
bathroom floor got quite wet.
The pillows were a bit too big to be comfortable.

Lovely welcome at The Manor Amsterdam - comfortable and clean room, kind staff and stress free stay!
Pros:

The Manor Amsterdam is at a very comfortable location - public transport such as metro and trams are at a close distance, shops and restaurants as well.
The room was clean and equipped with all the necessities listed.
The Staff was exceptional and a pleasure to communicate with before, during and after the stay! Big Thank you!

Cons:

Something that is temporary - there is currently construction work on the railway in front of the hotel and it can be noisy from quite early in the morning, if the windows are open. Having them closed helped reduce the noise by a lot!

Heerlijk luxe comfortabel verblijf in een heel gezellige buurt (dapperbuurt)
Pros:

We hebben vaker in The Manor overnacht, maar niet sinds de renovatie. Deze renovatie heeft heel goed uitgepakt. Beneden is het veel overzichtelijker en heel mooi gestyled met een bijzondere klassiek/moderne luxueuse uitstraling.
Dit geldt ook zeker voor de kamer; bijzonder mooi gestyled, veel warme tinten, uitstekend bed, prima ingerichte heel schone badkamer.
