Pros:

This was a lovely hotel a 10 t0 15 minute walk from the main train station.

The room was a good size and with a small refrigerator which was welcome as it was August and it was very hot.

There is a very substantial breakfast provided with the room rate.

The hotel felt secure (room had a safe) and the reception is staffed 24 hours.

Cons:

The room did not have AC and although there was a portable electric fan, it was not very useful so the room was very warm.

preisleistung ein witz: ein ventilator der nur laut ist, aber keinen wind produziert. dusche beim ersten benutzen verstopft und badezimmer geflutet. bei einem aufenthalt von einer nacht für 140€ keinen preiserlass ider reparatur oder zimmerwechsel.

Historical building very clean very friendly staff good location

Cons:

A little bit tough walking up the hill to the location with bags. No air-conditioning except for on the top floor. Had a bar fridge, but nothing was cold in there. Apparently it only works when you are in the room. No bottle opener you had to get one from the desk strange.

Pros:

The hotel is a former palace and retains this feeling, full of the character.. The rooms are very large and very comfortable. It is located in a very good area, only 5 minutes away from the center of the city and from IP Pavlova which is a major transport area with many Tram lines and a Metro station.
The hotel is very friendly and welcoming and especially Roy, in Reception,who is so courteous and helpful.
There is also a fantastic Restaurant downstairs in the hotel and it is a very typical Czech Restaurant with fabulous food. The staff are very friendly in this atmospheric Restaurant.
I highly recommend this hotel.
