Hotel Hermes

he hotel is in a wonderful location a two minute walk from the main bus station and two minutes the other way to the harbour. I could see the harbour from my room. The people working at the hotel were very friendly and competent giving me lots of great information about transport and food. Good power sockets in the room. Breakfast was not fancy but had all the basics like cereal, bread, boiled eggs, cheese and juice. Overall incredible value for the price.

Right at the center, very friendly staff, and clean. It was a small room, with small bathroom. Very convenient for a weekend at Rhodes.

A very welcoming and accommodating Reception. Surprisingly I was able to check- in earlier as expected and I was so grateful. It is a perfect location for everything you wanna do in the city center. The Bus Station for the Airport is at the back of the hotel. The fantastic view from my room balcony is the Mandraki Marina and Port. It is just around 5 mins walk to the Greek Post Office. It is around 20 mins walk to the Palace of the Grand Master. The Kolona Harbor is just a 5 mins walk from the hotel. The room is big enough, clean and they refresh the room daily and refilled the amenities. The hotel is surrounded with many restaurants, sidewalk cafes and shops. I want to come back to this hotel and I highly recommend.

I recently stayed at the Hermes Hotel for a weekend break and would like to share my experience with those who might be considering this hotel as an option, as I had a very positive experience.
I would like to say a few words about the location: the hotel is perfectly situated just a few steps from Mandraki Harbour and a short walk from the medieval Old Town. For tourists who prefer to travel by public transport, there are two bus stops just across the road - one serving the local public transport network and another for long-distance buses connecting to the island’s main tourist attractions.
The room was consistently clean (with special thanks to the lovely housekeeper, Irina), comfortable, and well maintained. The hotel itself is in a very convenient location close to local attractions. I stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the impressive view of the harbour and the Aegean Sea.
The staff are friendly and professional, making the stay comfortable and always willing to assist with any queries.
Breakfast offered a good variety of food, so you won’t go hungry (this is a standard European hotel whose offering is perfectly adequate). The dining area was pleasant and well organized, and I had no issues with Wi-Fi.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay at a reasonable price.
