Location and welcoming staff

We stayed for just 1 night and had the evening meal and breakfast. All staff were so friendly and helpful. Kerry the lady who sorted our booking out was also there when we had our evening meal . Which was delicious. She told us all the places to visit and is an absolute asset to the hotel. The only disappointment was the dolphins didn’t make an appearance hopefully next time they will . The hotel was clean and had a lovely out area as well as the restaurant and bar area . We will definitely be returning soon .

Had a meal on the upper terrace and breakfast on the lower terrace. Both very good with lovely views across the beach to the sea.

Checked in on the 15th of May for a 2 night stay. Was fairly disappointed with the room on arrival but more concerned with the smell.

We hoped it would diffuse and went out for the day. However….When we returned it was just as bad and complained. The cannabis like smell was apparently due to new carpets… but definitely not like new carpets I’ve ever had.

Checked out in the morning around 9am and verbally told we would get credited for the second night. But after raising the issue through booking.com (who were ok to be fair) the hotel refused to pay.

Just very poor. Avoid would be my advice!

Lovely, comfortable and very well equipped self catering accommodation

This was one of the most uncomfortable hotel experiences we have had. After raising concerns about the room and facilities, we felt the response from management was dismissive and unnecessarily confrontational rather than helpful.

We had booked a superior room, but experienced issues with the accommodation, including extremely uncomfortable beds and inconsistent shower temperature control which resulted in me being scalded.

The hotel did offer us a downgraded room and a partial refund during our stay, but this did not change how uncomfortable the overall experience felt due to the way we were spoken to and treated throughout the situation.

We left feeling unwelcome and singled out during our stay. As people of colour, the experience sadly raised concerns for us about how we were treated.

We would advise prospective guests to think carefully before booking this hotel.

Not much. Pretty dissatisfied

Location - clean rooms - friendly staff

My son took me here for my 80th birthday which fell on Sunday 17th of May. We had a window seat looking out to the sea. I had not been out of my house for two and a half weeks recovering from a hip replacement, so the view was amazing. Even though he had arranged to take me out for a meal in the evening, we still both opted for the chicken roast dinner. I think it's the best roast I've had anywhere. The roast potatoes were so tasty and the meal was delicious. I only managed half, but my son helped me out! The staff were brilliant and the whole experience was fantastic. It was our first time there but we will be back.

A very pleasant stay

Nice hotel nice clean room although shower was very small food in hotel was nice and value for money , the doors opened up to the outside area which was nice to be able to have fresh air and see the sea ,unfortunately workmen were sawing and hammering which woke me up early and disturbed me obviously this work was planned and I shud not have been put in that room knowing this as I paid £164 room only for one evening the noise of hammering was both outside both doors of the room as work was going on inside and out I’m sure other rooms were available if not the room shud not be sold at that price

Very professional and great staff, very accommodating

My boyfriend booked this hotel as a birthday surprise for me and he couldn’t have picked better. The staff were so attentive, friendly and happy and as it was a big birthday upgraded us to a sea view room which was stunning. The room was very clean and well equipped.
We had our evening meal in the on site restaurant. The food was gorgeous and the portions are very generous. We were served by Ste who provided the best service we have had in a long time and really made the evening special for me. I even got a little birthday dessert.
Breakfast was also gorgeous, lots of choice and we were both happy with our choices.
We will definitely be back, the location, staff, rooms, food and views made for a perfect way to celebrate my birthday. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

My husband and I went for lunch on Tuesday 12th if may I had a crayfish sandwich with chips the crayfish was absolutely tasteless and the chips were so greasy you could actually squeeze the oil out of them we were sure they weren't freshly fried as we're not hoty husband had fish and chips the fish was nice but again the chips were the same as mine the staff were lovely but give this place a miss and go to the sea view instead we would have but we had our dog with us and the sea view balcony was closed
