Pros:

Great location for a quiet break.

Cons:

Rooms are dated and need to be modernised at this price. No air conditioning, and no smart TV also not acceptable.

Beautiful spot by the beach, spacious rooms great service
Pros:

We loved the property the pictures dont do it justice, I think because some of the art work is a little dated but the space is beautiful, very close walk to Grotto beach, the room was very spacious and everyone was spotlessly clean! The team working there were so helpful, knowledgable and welcoming and we’d definitely go back!

Cons:

I’d say the only slight tweak is some of the artwork is feeling dated but doesn’t spoil the stay

A stunning property with amazing service
Pros:

Fabulous property with a stunning design. Our suite was beautiful and the fireplace made it even more special.

Cons:

It’s a bit far from the city centre (which is not necessarily a bad thing! Just something to be aware of!)

I wish we stayed more than 1 night!
Pros:

The architecture of the house is fantastic! The bedroom was huge with an amazing view. It is not directly on the beach because the winds are strong in this area, so all sea shore houses are about 300 meters inland, with vegetation to protect them from the sand. Yet, even from the downstairs bedroom we had a beautiful view of the beach, with a nice garden view, beautifully landscaped with selected local plants. The bed was huge, which was a plus for us. The linen were super soft and a dream to slide in. My father LOVED the breakfast. There was plenty of choice and all products were fresh (except for the fruit juices which were not freshfly squeezed). I loved the pool, for me the pool was the cherry on the cake! The staff is absolutely fantastic, all of them!

Cons:

The mattress was a bit too strong, but good (I like soft, so that's my probably going to affect only a few). The TV did not work, but that's not a problem since we did not visit Hermanus to watch TV.
