Akis Hotel

The desk attendant and Mr Akis were incredibly helpful and attentive; they allowed us to check in early, stored our luggage for us, and helped arrange a tour of the island. Lovely people and would stay here again!

Akis Hotel was perfect! I can't stress it enough that it was what made our trip. An overall great location, next to the 24 hour MegaMart for all your snack and beverage needs and a few paces away from a fantastic Cretan bakery. Their staff were so friendly, I would recommend it to anyone looking to feel at home in Santorini.

Kamari was much quieter than Fira and Oia, (easier on the wallet too) and only a bus a way from the hustle and bustle. Akis Hotel was incredibly accommodating and had many great recommendations for eating out and island excursions. Kamari beach was the cherry on top, only a two minute walk down the road! We will definitely be staying there again our next visit to Santorini.

Google and hotels.com said this is a 2 star hotel however compared to other 2 star hotels I’ve been to, this is a hidden gem of a hotel.

It is in a great location, close to nearby facilities like a laundromat, bakery, shops and the beach. The rooms were spacious and modern without the large price tag.

Akis, his wife and his new receptionist are such lovely people and welcoming and made our visit to Kamari wonderful.

Staying here was a pleasure, Mr. Akis and his staff was very friendly and accommodating. Felt like being at home away from home with their service. Very convenient to Kamari beach which is a 1 or 2 mins walk away, would definitely recommend. Thank you Mr. Akis and team

Struttura al centro di Kamari, personale molto disponibile e gentile a livello familiare. Consigliatissimo per chi vuole trascorrere un soggiorno a Santorini all'insegna del divertimento e relax.

This was an amazing place to stay! Mr. and Mrs. Akis are so sweet and helpful. We call Mr. Akis, “El Capitan”. The hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious, and I felt very safe. Anything we needed, the staff would help us. There were restaurants close by that served amazing food. The beach is walking distance. There is a mini market right next store for any little stuff you may need. There’s also a bakery at the corner, 30 seconds away from the hotel with delicious baked goods! I can’t say enough good stuff about this property. My family and I were sad to leave.

This is an excellent 2 star hotel. Clean, convenient for everything and good sized room. Owners were very kind and helpful, organising tours (no mark up) and giving lots of valuable information. I would certainly recommend it!

This superb family run hotel in a prime position is ideal for a stay in Kamari. Mr Akis and his team are lovely people. 100 yards from the beach, great restaurants to choose from on that small strip. Rooms spotless, great shower, comfy beds and aircon. Hotel can organise a cab to and from airport. No pool but there is the pool bar is opposite. Cant go wrong. Excellent stay. Thanks you Mr Akis made our week

Ho adorato la struttura il personale e la zona, tutto davvero fantastico e sempre a disposizione del cliente, personale gentilissimo davvero tanto soddisfatta anche della zona della comodità per raggiungere tutto ma il mare a due passi pieno di ristorantini a prezzi modici e mi i market h24 è fantastico!

Mr Akis and his family was very nice. He help us setup the transportation from the airport to his hotel and the to the Port once we left. He recommended places to eat nearby and an excursion to another Island for sightseeing. I will recommend to stay here for people that are looking to be near a nice beach since is less than a block a way from it. In my opinion best beach to be in Santorini.

Hotel Akis er et fantastisk sted å oppholde seg. Det må tas i betraktning pris, logistikk, nærhet til alle faciliteter . Sympatisk vertskap. Alltid ryddig og rent . Veldig enkelt - no fake !!Kommer gjerne tilbake til samme sted ved senere anledning .

Veldig enkelt hotell. Rommet var ikke hyggelig og det var en del støy. Hyggelig betjening. Rot med transport til havna så det ble i en særdeles møkkete privatbil!
