Wir mussten wegen Bettwanzen im Cottage wieder auschecken und verliessen das Hotel. Das Personal war sehr nett und erstattete uns den gezahlten Betrag.

Very enjoyable.
Pros:

Junior suite had spacious rooms it was nice to have a separate room to relax, read or watch TV. Good variety for breakfast. Lovely gardens and friendly staff.

Cons:

Possibly change the evening menu more often.

The hotel has potential, but basic paint and upkeep would really help.
Pros:

It was nice the property was out of town and the hotel structure is nice looking. The breakfast was good.

Cons:

The reception area is old and looks unprofessional. We had to pass the kitchen to get to our room, and our room smelled very strongly of a terrible “air freshener”. The smell was almost unbearable and we had to sleep with all windows open all night long. The bed was also old and very uncomfortable. The bathroom has some upgrades, but they didn’t bother to fix a very old and beat up Formica countertop. The dinner was good but very disorganized with the 4 different staff each asking to take our order. The hotel was also ridiculously expensive for its shabbiness.

Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich

Cons:

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt absolut nicht. Es ist zu teuer, da alles sehr abgenutzt und schäbig ist. Ausserdem auch nicht sauber.

Great stay and great experience.
Pros:

Had a great experience. Daniel was at the desk when we arrived and could not have been nicer. Beautiful house and grounds. Room was huge. Breakfast was great the next morning. Just out of town and easy to get to. Would love to stay there again next time we are in the area and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic place to relax and unwind just a short way out of the city.
