What could be an amazing place
Pros:

The building and grounds are very beautiful. The gentlemen in the reception was very friendly.

Cons:

We had a very bad experience in the breakfast of the first day. Very unpleasant person, completely in contrast with the experience in the second day. The inside is completely run down and needs urgent renovation.

Great location and excellent service hotel
Pros:

Room size was excellent, we ate in the restaurant food quality was excellent. Services was excellent. Lovely gardens and peaceful. I’d recommend.

Petit cottage avec cheminée très agréable, en pleine nature, avec un jardin. Au calme.

Cons:

Il manque un peu d'équipements dans la cuisine, il n'y a rien pour cuisiner : pas de plaque, pas de four, pas de casserole, ni poêle. Alors que l'on a un salon et une table à manger.

Spacious suite, Comfortable bed. Great shower. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely setting.

Cons:

For the price I found the hotel a bit tired and our room was a bit worn in places. Notably the sash windows in our room were not in good shape with one showing an unsightly section of rotten wood - it should be a priority for running repairs should take care of this.

The breakfast was 10 out of 10 . The cottage we stopped in was beautiful. Realy high standard and very roomy . Would stop there again .
