Bel hôtel mais demander une chambre sur l'intérieur
Pros:

Bel hôtel très bien placé avec service impeccable. Chambre spacieuse, literie confortable.

Cons:

Il est juste impossible de dormir. Pas d'insonorisation sur la rue.

Wir haben über Booking com das Hotel bezahlt. Beim Auschecken fragte der Mann an der Rezeption wie wir bezahlen möchten, cash oder Kreditkarte. Wir sagten, wir hätten über Booking bezahlt. Er fand lange nichts und nach 15 Minuten Aufregung hat er die Zahlung gefunden

A must stay at in Vientiane!
Pros:

The Salana was truly an outstanding hotel in our stay in Laos. The location is perfect to explore the old town, the room was extremely quiet and dark at night for optimum sleep and breakfast really stood out with a nice choice of freshly made refined dishes brought to your table. The caramel and berry crepes were delicious! We even enjoyed a 2h massage at the spa and had dinner at their restaurant with which were also both very high quality. So after having tested every service the hotel has to offer, we can only highly recommend it as a place to stay in Vientiane.

Cons:

There is nothing not to like.

Perfect for a short stay in Vientiane as right in the heart of the tourist area
Pros:

Almost perfect. Great location. Friendly and helpful stuff. Well presented room with plenty of gels and shampoos. Wonderful breakfast for any one’s taste or nationality.

Cons:

In room Internet was intermittent and lost signal regularly. Internet in reception and restaurant was no problem

4 star that feels more than a nice and clean bed and breakfast
Pros:

Location was good, property clean. Breakfast options very nice.

Cons:

For a 4 star expected warmer hospitality and onsite amenities.
Requests for additional complimentary water were ignored.

Could only grant me a 30 mins extension on checkout time despite property not being full and request for a private space to change after checkout were initially refused…

Hotel with charme in a great location.
Pros:

Salana is located near the main attractions. It is a great place to stay for a shorter period of time. Staff is extremely friendly and supportive.
Great breakfast buffet with vegetarian options but no alternative milk. I liked the breakfast room, French-style influence.
Wifi was great for Laos standards.

Cons:

AC needs some maintenance.
