La personne a la réception à notre arrivée le matin. Très antipathique, pas du tout accueillant. C’était très décevant, suite à des échanges très agréables en amont de notre arrivée. Nous avons demandé d’anticiper le Check in et, en arrivant à l’hôtel, le fonctionnaire à la réception ne s’est pas montré accueillant.

Het is ronduit smerig en onvriendelijk in dit hotel. Ik kwam rond 13.00 uur aan. Bij de receptie werd niet gegroet en nauwelijks opgekeken. Je bent eerder last dan gast. De ontbijtruimte was nog steeds één grote puinhoop. Het toilet was extreem vies en bedekt met onbekende substanties. Aan de zijkant van het bed zaten vlekken en zelfs rijstresten. Ook op de muren waren overal vlekken te zien, waaronder bloed. Daarnaast waren er kapotte tegels en zeer vieze voegen. Het personeel spreekt gebrekkig of geen Nederlands en komt uitermate onvriendelijk over, muv de dame van de reiniging. Een bende ellende voor 143€.

Nuestra experiencia en el Hotel Van Gogh comenzó con una muy mala impresión. Nada más llegar, tuvimos problemas para acceder al hotel: había que pulsar un botón en la puerta y apartarse un poco para que esta se abriera. Lo intentamos en varias ocasiones mientras el recepcionista del turno de mañana nos veía desde dentro y no hizo nada para ayudarnos. Finalmente nos abrió, pero de muy malas maneras y nos reprendió, sin siquiera saludarnos o decirnos buenos días.

Al hacer el check-in, simplemente nos indicó que teníamos que hacerlo nosotras mismas, incluso activar las tarjetas de acceso a la habitación. Entendemos que el hotel tenga un sistema de check-in autónomo, pero echamos en falta una actitud más amable y predispuesta a ayudar. Consideramos, además, que quizás las personas mayores puedan tener más dificultades para saber cómo funciona este sistema y podrían necesitar algo de asistencia.

Su trato fue tan poco acogedor que durante la estancia no nos atrevimos a preguntarle por excursiones o recomendaciones, y el día del check-out incluso nos daba apuro pedirle que nos guardara las maletas hasta nuestra hora de salida. Creemos que una persona de cara al público debería mostrar una actitud más profesional y cordial, ya que representa la imagen del establecimiento.

Respecto a las instalaciones, hay algunos aspectos mejorables. La puerta de la habitación estaba desconchada y el mando de la televisión estaba sujeto con una goma, detalles que transmiten cierta falta de mantenimiento. La habitación era correcta para una estancia corta, aunque bastante pequeña, hasta el punto de que resultaba difícil que dos personas pudieran cambiarse de ropa cómodamente al mismo tiempo.

En definitiva, el hotel tiene una ubicación excelente y algunos aspectos muy positivos, pero creemos que debería mejorar el mantenimiento y, especialmente, la atención al cliente. La actitud del recepcionista del turno de mañana condicionó mucho nuestra experiencia y fue lo que más nos decepcionó.

Piccole manutenzioni avrebbero reso la camera perfetta.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to make a formal complaint regarding the way I was treated by a member of staff at reception during the night.
At around 4:00 a.m., I came to the reception and asked if I could have a coffee while waiting for my friend. Instead of simply explaining to me what was or was not possible at that hour, the receptionist spoke to me in a very disrespectful manner and told me to leave. He even threatened to call the police to have me removed.
What made the situation even more difficult to understand was that another guest came downstairs with noodles and was allowed to get hot water. However, when I asked for a coffee, I was not allowed to use the coffee machine and the receptionist closed the machine.
I find this completely unacceptable. I am a paying guest at your hotel and paid approximately €250 for the night. I can understand if certain services are unavailable at 4:00 a.m., but I cannot understand why another guest could be helped while I was refused a simple coffee and then treated in such a disrespectful manner.
I felt humiliated and extremely unwelcome. I expect guests to be treated with basic respect, regardless of the time of day.
I would therefore appreciate it if management could look into what happened and provide me with an explanation regarding the behaviour of the receptionist and the difference in treatment I experienced.

El chico de Recepción de la mañana bastante antipàtico.

Chambre un peu petite mais correcte pour nous. Le sèche-cheveux ne fonctionnait pas très bien et il manquait de paternes pour accrocher nos serviettes dans la salle de bain.

The breakfast room was a bit small or cosy but the staff were great and got everyone seated for breakfast

Das Frühstück würden wir nicht mehr dazubuchen. Es gibt gleich im Nebenhaus ein sehr gutes Cafe.

Everything was good.
