According to Colombian law, only nonresident tourists are eligible for VAT exemption. To confirm tourist status at check-in, you may present the immigration stamp in your passport or the Andean Immigration Card or Mercosur Card, which details the foreign visitor's entry into Colombia (date and type of entry). Cons:

Demasiada demora en el registro de acceso al hotel: más de media hora haciendo fila. Podría ser automática con pago inmediato con máquina receptora. Televisión programada para encenderse automáticamente varias veces en la noche interrumpiendo el sueño. Casi no logramos desconectarlo

Me he alojado varias veces y ha desmejorado…
Pros:

La cama. Sus almohadas y ropa de cama perfectas para un sueño reparador.

Cons:

El desayuno muy limitado. Estuve media hora tomando desayuno y no hubo café ni chocolate porque lo estaban haciendo.
El transporte al aeropuerto no está bien organizado, es insuficiente en horas pico.
