Nice place to stay with a friendly staff if you need to stay in this area
Pros:

Once inside the hotel it is very clean and tidy. Staff is attentive and helpful. I was able to leave my suitcase in the hotel one day while I travelled to Jiufen, which was greatly appreciated. Has all facilities you need.

Cons:

Not the nicest area of Taipei. The hotel is nice once you get in, but the area is a bit gritty. The building is old, but well kept. The breakfast is very basic

Cons:

The wifi was almost zero. Downloading mails were also very difficult. The staff at the reception was quite nervous and moody. The breakfast was very unsatisfactory for a such high rate room price. sorry to say that I would not suggest this hotel.

Convenient location with good breakfast
Pros:

It’s located at a central area in the city, yet it’s quiet. The breakfast is good and plenty of choices. There’s a paid washer and dryer at the back of the hotel.

Cons:

The bathroom is big but without a bidet. We booked the first two nights at a great price, but the 3rd night is a big jump.
