Too noisy, other guests partying in the pool at 4.00am in the morning, not acceptable and shouldnt happen at a 4 star hotel which influenced my overall rating of this hotel.

Planning a family reunion is never easy, especially when everyone is traveling from different parts of the world. A year ago, I took on the task of organizing a reunion for my siblings, their children, and my mother. After researching options, I chose Hotel Virrey Cartagena because of its excellent pricing, great location near the beach, and close proximity to restaurants.
As anyone who has planned a large family gathering knows, things rarely stay the same. As the reunion approached, my brother changed the length of his stay, my sister added a companion, my niece adjusted her arrival date, and my nephew decided to join us. What started as a straightforward reservation quickly became a logistical puzzle.
Throughout it all, Hotel Virrey Cartagena was absolutely outstanding. The team worked patiently with me to accommodate every change, honored the pricing we had secured through our early booking, and made sure every member of our family had exactly what they needed. They helped turn what could have been a stressful experience into a seamless and enjoyable one.
Our two-week stay exceeded all expectations. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. The hotel was quiet, family-friendly, and perfectly located. Most importantly, the staff was consistently kind, professional, and genuinely invested in making our reunion special.
I would like to give a special shout-out to Luis and Kevin. They understood the challenges of coordinating a large family gathering and went above and beyond to make everything work smoothly. Their dedication, flexibility, and customer service played a huge role in making this reunion a memorable and wonderful experience.

Buena ubicación y buena atención.
El aire acondicionado no se siente mucho.
La ubicación es muy buena para la zona. Se puede ir caminando a restaurantes y lugares para pasear, y hay tiendas, supermercados y farmacias muy cerca. Aunque está un poco alejado del centro histórico y de Getsemaní, es fácil llegar en autobús o Uber. El personal fue muy amable y atento. Además, guardaron nuestro equipaje sin costo después del check-out, ya que teníamos un paseo programado y regresamos más tarde para recogerlo. Fue un detalle que agradecimos mucho.
La ubicación es buena, pero la primera habitación, cerca de la piscina, tenía un fuerte olor a humedad y no tenía ventana, lo que hacía que el ambiente fuera muy poco ventilado. Solicitamos un cambio y nos asignaron una habitación más pequeña, que estaba mejor, aunque seguía siendo poco aireada, a pesar de tener una ventana hacia la calle. El viernes hubo bastante ruido. El baño era bueno y el desayuno también, aunque habría sido mejor si ofrecieran la posibilidad de calentar el pan.
