This hotel is a little gem. A bit too isolated for my liking but fairly close to the local town. The main dislike is the lack of clarity on check in. Clarity is always good even though one has good finances. The hotel itself is wonderful in every aspect: the surrounding countryside is the best in the world, the food is tasty and of gourmet class and the health facilities are to be recommended. The hotel is recommended despite its shortcomings.

Pros:

Absolutely beautiful location on the lake at junction of feeding River. The room is large,comfortable and has spectacular bay window overlooking lake and hills. Pool at lakeside. Facilities are well maintained.

Front desk staff was great. Tour desk did not deliver so I recommend looking for tours elsewhere. Our room was quite noisy as it was under the restaurant and near the elevator. It was also not quite what was shown in the pictures for a junior suite. We paid full price and expected more.

Hotel histórico - Pode melhorar o atendimento -
Pros:

Hotel histórico com vistas muito bonitas do lago e montanhas nevadas. Café da manhã completo e fresco em geral. Restaurante com pratos Gourmet de bom gosto a preços altos comparado com restaurantes da região. Deixou a desejar a organização e o atendimento do pessoal do hotel. Exemplos: 1). Nós deram um quarto errado que compensaram 2 dias depois com um upgrade. 2). No quarto da minha sogra, perderam a chave do quarto, deixando ele aberto durante o dia até reclamarmos na noite (a atendente nem sabia desse fato) 3). No dia anterior ao check-out fui conferir a conta e misturaram gastos do meu quarto 409 com outro quarto de outros hóspedes. 4). Não deixam permanecer crianças abaixo de 12 anos na piscina após 18 hs sendo que geralmente é o horário de chegada do centro de esqui. A regra está clara para não "atrapalhar adultos na piscina " porém deveriam deixar isso claro no momento de oferecer o quarto pois nossos filhos tiveram dias que não conseguiram usar. Se soubessemos desse fato, talvez tivéssemos escolhido outra hospedagem. Parte da escolha do Hotel Correntoso foi para que nossos filhos curtam das opções do hotel após esquiar. 5). Não ofereceram ajuda para levar as malas no check-out. Era o minimo esperado para um hotel dessa categoría.
