Pros:

Great customer service, Selana made us feel right at home, looked out for us during our stay and provided great recommendations for things to do in Astypalaia. The breakfasts every morning were fantastic and the view from the room balcony incredible.

Pros:

We absolutely loved our stay at Kilindra!
Our room, the view, the pool area and small boutique vibe all create an oasis of calm where you really feel like you are are getting away from it all.
Selana, the hotel manager, was extremely helpful and attended to all our needs. Her hospitality was the best thing about our stay, she makes Kilindra feel like a real home from home!

Unfortunately, the wifi didn’t work in our room, and the basic breakfast basket could have been a bit more versatile - other than that we had a great stay!

Charming boutique hotel with stunning sea views located in the heart of Chora. Beautiful courtyard/pool area with bougainvilleas. Good size room stylishly decorated. Stable WiFi. Continental breakfast included in the room rate. Some minor maintenance issues (ceiling fan, AC) needed attention. Recommend!

Hidden gem for rest and relaxation on your Island getaway.
Pros:

Selana and Yiannis were amazing hosts. Very personable and friendly. They gave great recommendations for places to visit on the island, and the restaurants Selana recommended were excellent. We will be back.

The pool was perfect, and the view from the patio area is spectacular. So much so that it is now the screensaver on our phones.

The facilities are kept clean and sanitized.

We could not have picked a better place to stay.

Cons:

Having to leave. This place was so amazing that it is hard to come up with something we didn't like. That being said, the beds were firmer than we are used to, but that is more a preference kind of thing.

Great place to stay and explore a beautiful island.
Pros:

The view from our balcony was awesome. The room was very clean when we arrived and cleaned again everyday. Our host was very welcoming and sincere. Close enough to Chora to have access to restaurants and public transport. Very nice stay.

Εξαιρετική τοποθεσία και θέα. Πάρα πολύ εξυπηρετικοί όλοι τους (ειδικά η Σελάνα). Γενικά ένα κατάλυμα ιδανικό για χαλάρωση και να περάσεις όμορφα. Και ήρεμα και πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο της χώρας.

Τουλάχιστον για το δωμάτιο στο οποίο μείναμε , ίσως μια μικρή αναβάθμιση/συντήρηση χρειάζεται ο ανεμιστήρας οροφής και το κλιματιστικό.

Vision du tourisme très décevante.

En quatre années de voyage dans les Cyclades, c’est la première fois que nous tombons sur un service d’hébergement qui a une vision du tourisme en décalage total avec l’état d’esprit de ces magnifiques iles :
Attention! Le petit déjeuner inclus dans le prix annoncé notamment par des photos qui vous montrent un service à table, une diversité de produits locaux … est strictement mensonger. Il se résume en une bouteille de jus d’orange à partager, 2 tartines de pain, 2 biscuits et une tranche d’une épaisseur d’1/2 centimètre par personne de pastèque ou de melon ; le tout servi dans un panier à 9h00. Pour le café, vous vous contenterez d’un sachet déshydraté sans eau. Il faudra donc soit utiliser de l’eau annoncée non potable soit payer la bouteille d’eau mise à votre disposition dans le frigo.
Un personnel frappe à votre porte pour vous indiquer la livraison. Dans l’hypothèse où à 9h15 vous n’auriez pas touché au panier on revient frapper à la porte des vacanciers.
Le panier ne contenant aucune vaisselle il revient donc aux vacanciers de faire eux-mêmes leur vaisselle dans le lavabo de la salle de bain.
Si vous souhaitez le petit déjeuner mis en valeur dans l’annonce il vous faudra payer 18€ de plus par personne. Cela vous est indiqué 2 jours avant votre arrivée (soit après le délai limite d’annulation).
Concernant la navette (10€) entre le port et l’hôtel, à notre sortie du bateau (nous étions dans les premiers), nous n’avons vu aucune pancarte. Nous avons attendu avant d’appeler l’hôtel qui nous a affirmé que nous n’étions pas là… ils sont revenus 15 min plus tard…. Nous vous conseillons comme alternative l’Astybus (moins cher et tout aussi efficace) et pour les plus courageux le chemin à pied vous prendra 15 min…
Je ne vous cacherai pas que cette situation nous a particulièrement contrariés. Pour ce tarif, c’est très décevant. La beauté de l’île nous a heureusement compensé ces désagréments!!
