Tolle fußläufige Lage zu Essen oder Shopping im Herzen Reykjaviks
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt in einer Fußgängerzone und man Möglichkeiten für Essen, Trinken oder Shopping sind fußläufig. Zur Bushaltestelle #1 am Rathaus sind es 4 Gehminuten. Das Hotel war ruhig, und das Zimmer lag nach hinten, so dass man von Feiernden in den Kneipen rundherum nicht viel hörte. Besonders liebenswert ist der alte Kater Baktus, der auf seinem Ledersessel in der Lobby seine Schläfchen hält und sich über Streicheleinheiten freut.

Cons:

Wie gesagt kann es durch die zentrale Lage abends und/oder am Wochenende in der Fußgängerzone etwas lebhafter sein, und man hört durch die doppelt verglasten Fensterscheiben auch etwas davon, aber ich empfand es nicht als störend.

Absolutely recommendable
Pros:

Friendly and kind staff, the room is clean, comfortable and nicely designed, and located at a very convenient location. It is a "quieter" side of the touristy area, which is nice, but is close enough to visit all the tourist attractions (e.g. church, museums, restaurants, etc). Bus stop #3, which is the pick up point for many tours, is within a few minutes walk.

Jederzeit wieder!
Pros:

Schönes und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Boutique-Hotel mitten in der Fußgängerzone. Wunderschöne Lobby, die zum Aufenthalt einlädt. Sehr freundliches Personal inkl. Hauskatze. Frühstück gibt es durch eine Kooperation vergünstigt in einem Hotel in etwa 150 Meter Entfernung.

Cons:

Mich persönlich hat es nicht gestört (eher im Gegenteil), aber wer am liebsten ruhig wohnt, sollte sich zumindest am Wochenende vielleicht eine andere Unterkunft suchen. ;-)

Very central, but noisy street
Pros:

Location was very central, easy to get to the main spots in Reykjavik. Staff was very friendly, didn't try the bar but it looked nice.

Cons:

It's on a very touristy street, including a few Irish pubs that play live music until 1AM. Not recommended if you need to get up early!

I would definitely stay there again without question!
Pros:

The location was perfect and the front desk person on duty when we checked in was super-friendly. She upgraded our room without us asking, recommended a great spot to eat, and gave us a coupon for it. When checking out, we had a lovely conversation with the person who was at the desk at that time. Overall, it was a great experience!

Cons:

Not much, really. It was a cute place with a funky style which we liked.
