One of the best places to stay in Reykjavik
Pros:

A great property in the city center. Very friendly and welcoming staff, and one residential cat, Baktus. The hotel lobby was interesting, with colors, statues and antique-type furniture. I was delighted that I got upgraded to a bigger room with a balcony, a very nice room, lots of space and a comfortable bed. Toilet and shower facilities were good. Location could not be any better, but during the weekend there was a lot of noise from the street and nearby restaurants/nightclubs. Restaurants, grocery stores, bookstore, and art museum and library were within 200m distance. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Cons:

I could not find a kettle in my room. Nothing else that I did not like.

A nice stay and good price for one night downtown Reykjavík.
Pros:

Location great!! Everything clean. Nice bed and bedding. Good mini fridge.

Cons:

Noisy (on a Saturday night) as we knew beforehand the hotel being downtown but ear plugs and sleep mask provided. Bathroom a little bit rundown.

Pros:

A small basic hotel which I would have stayed in when I was young and poor. Not having stayed in other hotels in Reykjavik, not sure of the value but wish I had paid more for a better-quality hotel.

Cons:

Everything was very basic. I had to ask for a 2nd pillow.
