A wonderful hotel in the heart of old Reykjavik, with exceptional staff and a lovely cat!
Pros:

A wonderful hotel, with very friendly and knowledgable staff. The room was very comfortable, with a great view. Rooms at the back of the hotel are very quiet, despite being in a very busy area of the city with lots of night life. Walkable to anything in Reykjavik, and very convenient for tours and excursions. They also have a lovely resident cat :-) Would definitely recommend this lovely hotel!

Cons:

One minor comment for improvement would be that the pillows are really thin and uncomfortable. Would recommend providing thicker ones!

Great value for money
Pros:

Location great, near Main Street & 20 minute walk from
BSI bus station. Clean, warm rooms. Close to bars, cafes, street food.

Pros:

What an exceptional hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Upon check in I received an unexpected upgrade to a room with a balcony. Thank you Bella. The room was perfect. Everything you need, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is ideally located in the downtown area near to plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Bus stop #1 - City Hall is around the corner so convenient for the Flybus and excursion pickups. Just a 5 - 10 minute walk and you come to the famous Rainbow Street which leads up to the Hallgrimskirkja Church. I would highly recommend staying here and can't wait to come back.
