Restaurant Tipp: Local by gois in Faro, super essen und sehr freundliche Bedienung.
Jolie chambre confortable ! Bon petit déjeuner !
Being close to the train station, bus stop, restaurants and cafes. The air conditioning unit did its job to make the room cooler and more comfortable. Our room was also maintained clean and the breakfast is all worth it. The staff were also really helpful and the accommodating especially the kitchen staff.
You cannot hear vehicles from outside the balcony (which is great) but you can hear people banging doors from other rooms in the middle of the night
Desayuno muy buena
NO TIENE MINIBAR, LA CAMA ES MAS CHICA QUE UNA QUEEN, Y PAGAMOS POR UNA EXTRA GRANDE. DESASTRE!!!, LA.HABITACIÓN ES PEQÑISIMA!!
NO LO RECOMIENDO!
Ubicación y limpieza
Instalaciones y comodidad
Rien.
The room was clean and spacious enough. The location was brilliant, a short walk into town and a short taxi ride to the airport. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We only needed to stay for one night, as we were just passing through. We were able to check in late, and the next day leave our luggage at the hotel for no extra cost. Uber to airport was really cheap.
Lo amables que son el personal y lo limpio que esta
Esta muy bien ubicado pero un sitio muy feo y viejo
The hotel is at the train-station/ bus-station at the entrance of town. The rooms are clean. There is a bed, one chair, and a wardrobe. Good pillows. The beds are comfortable (neither soft nor hard, carry the body weight). A little short, max 190cm length.
The ground floor has a reception area and big stairs then a large hallway running through an open-space cafeteria, utility rooms, another set of stairs and a lift at the back. In between this are hotel rooms for guests. Who puts rooms on the ground floor next to a reception and breakfast area in a hotel?
There is constant noise: every time the lift runs, a toilet flushes, a guest arrives, rooms get opened, closed, cleaned, vacuumed. The rooms on the ground floor view directly on the street. If you open the block-out curtains, no veil, you fall eye to eye with pedestrians and cars. Zero privacy.
I booked this hotel because the reviews praised the quietness and I was charmed by the big windows with sunlight. Only to find out I will be spending my time under electric lights and the quiet hours are between 2am and 6am.
I complained at the reception the second I entered the room. A room change was not possible because the hotel was fully booked. I asked to cancel my booking and to find common ground for a commercial gesture. The receptionist answered she wasn't in charge of that, I had to contact booking.com and my request would go through management. I completed my steps on bookings.com, which essentially was "sent a message to the hotel", which got answered by that same receptionist, repeating the same thing.
I slept exactly 4 hours per night because of noise. It made my holiday miserable.
Note there is no water or beach view, the hotel sits on the edge of town in front of an abandoned power-house.
At 175euros a night (which is what actual 5-stars hotel charge!). The quality is a 2 stars. The price is not. Worth 80e a night at best.
The cleanliness and the pillows and bed were extremely comfortable
The ground floor room on Main Street - as advertised “sound proof room” -> incorrect as the room was not soundproof only for I had earplugs I would not have slept - since I had booked a few months ago - twice I had requested a higher floor room - understandable it’s subject to availability but the room I got the location was extremely bad .
