Great place to stay - worth the money.
Pros:

The lady responsible for the breakfast was wonderful just like her works preparing the breakfast. The cleanliness was also perfect. 10/10. Staff reception in day shift really nice as well. Worth the money staying there.

Cons:

We’ve asked for a late check out willing to pay however even with a free room they did not accept us to leave late. The room was right next to the lift, meaning in some annoying noise during night.

Prima hotel op wandelafstand van centrum Faro
Pros:

Zeer degelijk hotel, met vriendelijk personeel en prima ontbijt (met zelfs chicken nuggets...) Voor 2 personen misschien ietwat krappe kamer en badkamer, maar gezien je in een stad zit, breng je ook geen dagen door op de kamer natuurlijk.

Cons:

Parkeren zal niet voor de deur zijn, wij stonden aan het treinstation wat 3 minuutjes wandelen is. De directe omgeving van het hotel spreekt niet echt aan, maar op 5min sta je al in centrum Faro dus helemaal prima.

Great value, and great location
Pros:

The location was great (especially for the price). 10-15 minutes walk could get you anywhere you'd want to see. The room was very clean - there were a few marks on the wall from things like the door banging, but I couldn't see any dirt.

Cons:

Breakfast was nice, but I'd have liked a little more choice, and some of the hot food was often mildly warm at best.

During my stay the building opposite was being demolished. This actually didn't cause any disturbance because the workers weren't there too early, but I noticed on my final night a lot of pigeons trying to land on my balcony. Presumably this was because they were previously on the now-demolished building. I didn't use the balcony, but hopefully the hotel will use some sort of deterrent if the pigeons are still around in summer.
