We could not recommend Minareto more! The room was just as advertised with gorgeous views across the water to Ortigia. The massages were amazing, and the private beaches, pool and jacuzzi meant we felt no need to leave the resort. Although the onsite restaurant was delicious, the staff were also kind enough to recommend other local restaurants and arrange transport to allow for some variation. The stand out of the trip however, was the amazing staff who went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We hope to return again some day!
We got an unexpected update to a dream house, with swimming pool and enough space for all of us. The private pool was unheated, the public pool was. The beach is clean (especially the rocky beach) but don't forget to take your water sandals. A shout-out to the cleaning team who do an excellent job!
There is a boat taxi to Syracuse, but it cost 25 Euros per person to use. That's 100 Euros pro family, every day - and you can't even choose the time to return (we had to wait 1,5 hour). You're better off taking an Uber.

Overly expensive especially dinner in restaurant. Over 70 euros for a very small market fish of the day with some grilled vegetables. Unnecessary to charge that much when it must have cost the hotel a few euros from the market. Cost of boat to Ortigia also over priced.

Panoramic room. Lovely hotel, nice staff.
1) included breakfast good but room service and restaurant prices excessive verging on ridiculous.
2) mosquitos made otherwise excellent outdoor evenings unpleasant. This is a regional issue but surely the hotel could do something to reduce the problem somewhat.
Everything is just stunning, from the rooms and their decor to the cliff sun chairs or private beach area! All just looks so nicely put together, a lot of greens around the whole resort, staff was extremely nice and helpful. The rooms are super big and comfortable, and the jacuzzi’s are beautiful with privacy as there are lots of plants around for each jacuzzi. It is possible to order drinks and food from every corner of the resort, it will be brought to you by golf cart as it is very big with many beautiful spots to enjoy sunset!
Nothing. It’s a bit far out, so you need a car or driver to bring you to the city center, but that’s not a critique as it gives the hotel the privacy and unique view of the sea!
Loved this hotel across from Ortigia in Siracusa. Modern and classic with great views and swimming options. Loved the lounges overlooking the sea. Room was luxurious and well appointed.
Soggiorno fantastico, l'hotel gode di una posizione privilegiata su un promontorio circondato dalla riserva marina del plemmirio.
La scelta di questa struttura ci ha permesso di vivere un soggiorno relax sul mare e lontani dalla confusione, ma nel contempo grazie ad un servizio di taxi boat fornito dall'hotel, siamo riusciti a raggiungere il centro storico di Ortigia per scoprirne l'immenso patrimonio culturale.
