Expensive stay in a true period property, but (to us) worth it. Amazing place!
Pros:

Great breakfasts, good locality and a fantastic property. Staff very helpful in all respects. Helpful with early breakfast and storing our luggage whilst we visited Isla Múcura for 3 days. And kept clean to a very high standard. A very interesting property just to walk around.

Cons:

Roof development not complete and not an area to hang out. One morning, we were unable to breakfast in the main hall due to the numbers.

Tremenda experiencia en Cartagena
Pros:

La verdad que he viajado cuatro veces a Cartagena y en este hotel hicieron que mi experiencia fuera a otro nivel, en todo sentido, las habitaciones, la comida, el desayuno, pero sobretodo la atención del personal fue a otro nivel, hotel de primera categoría en ese sentido.

Beautiful architecture. Colonial style lively restored. Very comfortable. Quiet. Great food. An oasis after walking around the Historic Centre. Museums, restaurants close by.

Christian was amazing. This hotel is very nice and calm. The rooftop is gorgeous and Christian made sure everything I needed was provided. Breakfast was good. The internet was the only thing that was not good.

Architectural gem of an oasis.
Pros:

A beautifully restored old school or religious house which is very central. Spacious and calm. Sound of courtyard fountain and ornamental pool featuring a passerelle leading to one of the dining rooms. Only irritation was the rickety dispensing water machine. Much of the water splashed onto the old tiled floor. No tea and coffee facility (a kettle) in the main lobby. The kitchen was not always open for beverages. For example, one evening repainting was going on. All other hotels on our seven weeks' of travel had hot water dispensers together with tea/coffee available without having to fetch the staff.
