Pros:

The view from our balcony was honestly incredible. The sea stretched out as far as you could see, and it was so peaceful to sit there and take it all in. The hotel is in a beautiful, elegant part of Ermoupoli, surrounded by stunning neoclassical buildings.
Everything was spotless, the interior of the hotel is full of character, and it's just a short walk to the centre. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
We're looking forward to coming back again next year.

Great, charming place to stay in Ermoupoli
Pros:

Incredibly charming, beautiful staff, lovely breakfast. Loved the records and my daughter loved the Asterix books in the library. The staff were brilliant, organising transfers with ease and giving advice.

Cons:

The bathroom in the balcony room is fine but had a very small shower, and the fridge could only take a couple of water bottles. Otherwise it was excellent and beautiful in its historical style and ambience

Room with an amazing view
Pros:

I had the most fantastic stay in Syros. I booked a double room with a view at Syrou Melathron at the last minute and it was amazing! I had a balcony and could watch the moon the full moon illuminate the harbour. There was a swimming spot below the hotel, which was super convienent. The staff were so helpful and lovely! Breakfast was also great.

Cons:

I really can't fault this hotel. I wish I had stayed longer!

Disappointing
Pros:

Only location

Cons:

- Not very clean (dirty marks on the coffee machine, dusty)
- Breakfast was included in the price but was only boiled eggs and snacking, they didn’t have breakfast buffet anything else was with extra charge
-Different rooms than in photos, it was disappointing i was expecting a bigger room, nicer view from the window. there was no view from the window the balcony was a different layout than in the photos

Gorgeous hotel! Best view on the island
Pros:

The view was fantastic! The hotel is very oldie worldie and just stunning. The restaurant/bar rooftop was lovely. Big bathroom, comfy bed, lovely balcony with table and chairs. Big mirror.

Cons:

My one and only complaint and its not even realky a complaint. The lady who worked at breakfast time. She was so grumpy 🤣 literally everything seemed like a problem - so much so we didnt enjoy our breakfast experience. Also to note that breakfast thats included is very basic, you have to pay extra for most things, even a cappuccino. Id much rather pay extra on my booking for breakfast and have it all included.

Et fantastisk hotell med fantastisk personale og beliggenhet!
Pros:

Personalet var superhyggelige og behjelpelige. Var der i forbindelse med at jeg skulle gifte meg, og de passet på at vi hadde alt vi trengte. Rommet og sengen var 10/10!

L'emplacement proche de la ville et du port. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse malheureusement pas servi avant 8h!

Cons:

L'accueil peu professionnel. Pas de service de navette proposé à notre arrivée au port. Pas de bouteille d'eau dans la chambre ni à la réception alors que nous avions marché avec les valises jusqu'à l'hôtel. La chambre "de luxe" vraiment une grosse blague ! La déco des années 60. La salle de bains petite et désuète. Et tout cela pour un tarif très exagéré pour la qualité proposée.

Pros:

Beau bâtiment néo classique, avec de beaux salons.
Balcon avec très belle vue sur la mer.
Belle terrasse pour le petit déjeuner.
Personnel stylé et sympathique.
Prêt de seeviettes pour la plage.

Cons:

Qualité moyenne du petit déjeuner.
Insonorisation insuffisante de la chambre, au dessus d'une rue pavée très passante.
Belle chambre, mais pas très confortable.

Schön restauriertes, gemütliches Boutique Hotel, mit wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal

Cons:

Frühstück, eher Basic aber mit Aufpreis bekommt man einiges mehr. Hervorragender Double Greek Kaffee

Great building in lovely location but has some issues.
Pros:

Lovely view of the ocean, close to swimming platform/beach Vaporia. Bed comfortable.

Cons:

All the room furnishings need updating. TV was placed impossibly high on the wall?? Pillows need replacing. Worn out, poor quality. 3 pillows for 2 people?? Floor was not cleaned each day. Feet became dirty when walking in the room. No shower screen installed on bath, water everywhere when shower used. Someone needs to put some effort into lifting the standard here as it is a lovely historic building in a great location. Disappointing.
