Hotel Klettur

Excellent location - close to downtown, tour pickup spots, etc. but not right in the middle of everything - it was very quiet in the hotel. I slept better than on any other vacation. Probably helped that there was no room above me. Very nice and helpful staff.

Loved my stay at Hotel Klettur! Everything I wanted to see was within walking distance and many tour companies pick up directly from the hotel. The room was comfortable, and the front desk staff were all helpful and friendly.

I ended up staying in three different rooms here over the course of my trip. I did an Intrepid Tour and so our Pre & post nights were in this hotel. All rooms were clean, 2nd room was on the 1st ground floor and the reception looked right into the bedroom window so had to keep the curtains closed at all times so room was very dark but that would be the only minor complaint. Hotel was great location, quick walk into the centre, breakfast was loevly, lots to choose from, also the airport bus picks you up from the hotel which was very helpful at 4am when it's snowing out. Overall would def recommend as an option to stay in.

Location, facilities, warmth

The hotel has a great location, easy to walk to the city center and also free parking around the hotel, which is already a plus. There are many tours departing from the hotel itself. I also liked that many markets and mini markets are around. The bed is not the ideal for me, but it was big enough for me (which is not so common). The room was clean and has enough space for the luggage.

The location is excellent, specially if you rent a car. You will find lots of free parking spots right next to the hotel. It is close to the end of the city center, with good options of markets, shops and restaurants around. The place was clean, the rooms are big enough for opening big luggages and with a decent breakfast.

Чисто, тепло, тихо, очень вкусный разнообразный завтрак. Очень здорово, что отель находится в трёх минутах пешком от места старта большого количества автобусных экскурсий.

The staff were courteous, helpful and patient. Always willing to answer questions. Damjan, Oscar and a third gentleman, whose name I did not get, were employees you would want to keep. Never hesitated to help me with directions , scheduling travel, just generally share info.

The location was great for exploring the city sites. Plenty of restaurants and shopping in the area. Really liked the Happy Hour.

Staff was friendly and very helpful giving advice on busses etc also booked airport transfer for me with hotel pickup. Also, on our last day (very early flight) hotel provided a light breakfast by opening breakfast room hours earlier for us (& other guests).
Rooms lovely and warm.
Beds super comfy so got a great sleep.
Rooms must be soundproofed as hardly heard any noise.
Hotel is classed as a main pickup point for day activities making activities very convenient, door-to-door
