Het begon al met het inrijden vd parkeergarage; €80 voor een nachtje parking, eigenlijk helemaal absurd maar ja he de Zuidas dus niet klagen. Eenmaal voor de receptie in de Lobby had Abigail totaal geen zin ons in te checken, sprak NL maar volhardend in het Engels, mijn partner bij a schofferend over de dubbele naam in haar paspoort en ik moest maar vinkjes op de ipad aantikken voor alles en nog wat en vooral NON SMOKING POLICY. De rest vd incheck zal ik jullie besparen! Wij naar de kamer op de lounge floor, 2e verdieping( o ja het ontbijt was volgens Abigail niet inclusief, ik zei wel degelijk, een welles nietes met de klant die ik jammergenoeg toch echt won volgens Abigail! Regel 1 ga nooit (onnodig) in discussie met een klant en zeker niet als je maar iets aanneemt en met een bereisd iemand! Wij naar de kamer; kamer open; ik voorop, halve stap binnen; GEROOKT in de kamer….. Wij terug, en ja Abigail had er schijnbaar na ons geen zin meer in want was 3 minuten na onze incheck al weg! Dus haar collega kreeg de volle laag en ja ik heb netjes mijn excuses aangeboden erna! Abigail’s collega had gelukkig het fatsoen ons aan de incheck balie te helpen met een nieuwe kamer, Abigail bleef aan haar bureau zitten de hele tijd gedurende de (mislukte) incheck! Of had ze misschien ons expres in die rook kamer geduwd? Wie zal het zeggen. Na de volgende incheck spullen uitgepakt en wat gaan drinken in de lounge….. ik zal de details besparen, of toch eentje dan, ik nam een kop warm water en zocht een theezakje, er waren theeblikken met losse thee maar hoe ging dat samen met warm water? Er was geen theezeef in velden of wegen te bekennen, alles afgezocht zelf tussen de “schone” kopjes waar de lipstick en koffievlekken van de vorige gebruiker nog opstonden en ja die stonden bij de schone kopjes. Laat ik er over ophouden!

It served the purpose
Pros:

We were looking for a hotel within a walking distance to the South train station and other public transportation. it is literaly 2-3 blocks away from the hotel. It locates in a business district and many restaurants are closed during weekend. And very few onen restaurants are booked solid for Saturday and Sunday

Cons:

Hotel's food choises. There are one Japanise reataurant and the bar serving fast food. Burger was very good, grilled vegetables not that tasty

Pros:

I liked the location of the hotel, very calm neighbourhood, close to the train station, the room is very clean!

Cons:

Upon checking in around 8pm, the staff asked for my ID then proceed to book me under a different person? Told me to pay and the breakfast is free! I told him that i already paid online then he told me he was looking at a different person although he checked my Id? Then said i will need to pay for the breakfast if i need to! The room had an empty shower gel container. That’s the only 2 reasons i didn’t like the place
