Important information:

The entry and registration of minors to the Hotel must be carried out by one of their parents with presentation of their birth certificate and identity card. If they are not accompanied by their parents, it may be carried out by the adult responsible for the minor, duly authorized by at least one of the parents. The authorization must be in writing signed and notarized by one of the parents and indicate that the minor is under their care.

Muy bueno pero deben prepararse ante primeros auxilios

El Hotel Las Américas en Cartagena ofrece excelentes instalaciones, buen nivel de servicio y, en términos generales, una experiencia que debería haber sido completamente satisfactoria. Lamentablemente, un incidente puntual cambió de forma significativa mi percepción final de la estancia.
Durante mi permanencia sufrí un accidente dentro del hotel y la situación fue gestionada por la gerente, Karen Valeta, de una manera que considero profundamente inapropiada para un establecimiento de esta categoría. En lugar de brindar apoyo o acompañamiento en un momento de evidente vulnerabilidad, se limitó a enviarme en taxi al hospital indicando al conductor que me dejara allí y regresara inmediatamente al hotel, sin verificar mi condición ni ofrecer seguimiento alguno posteriormente.
Más allá del accidente en sí, lo verdaderamente preocupante fue la ausencia de empatía y de un manejo humano básico ante una emergencia que involucraba a un huésped. Este tipo de situaciones son precisamente las que definen el verdadero estándar de servicio de un hotel, y lamentablemente la actuación de la persona responsable estuvo muy lejos de lo esperado.
Comparto esta experiencia con respeto hacia el hotel y sus instalaciones, pero también con la convicción de que el trato recibido en un momento crítico no debería formar parte de la experiencia de ningún huésped.

Muy cómodo y lindo!
Pros:

Jacuzzi y piscinas muy lindas. Desayuno súper completo. La ubicación al frente del mar y la vista desde las habitaciones.

Cons:

Las habitaciones no son tan top para el precio. Les falta diseño, estilo. Y que se tenga que pagar por el alquiler de las sombrillas en la playa, aunque el hotel me explicó las razones al ser un acuerdo con la comunidad.

Noisy comon spaces
Absolutely no control of guests speakers (too loudly, in public spaces, multiple guests making everyone listen to their preferred music (annoying).
Staying at the beach is not safe (you have to always keep an eye on your stuff)
Staff is not friendly (I do not need to be nice, I am just asking for correctness, neutral)
Taxi drivers out of control, the prices totally out of control. Be cautious with them.

Good location for beach stay.
Pros:

The location next to the convention center was great. My room was with open from sea view and very comfortable. Room service very efficient.

Cons:

The remote control of the TV was not working. The wall shower was not working. The bathroom is a bit out of date.

El hotel definitivamente es muy bueno, se presentaron un par de detalles por arreglar en la habitacion y lo resolvieron inmediatamente. Volvere

Cons:

La nota NO positiva es para Booking que al parecer solamente cubre en sus ofertas las habitaciones menos apetecidas en los hoteles. El trato es muuuuy distinto cuando se hace una reserva por Booking a cuando se hace directamente con el hotel, esto lo tendre en cuenta para los proximos viajes y saber cuando reservar con el uno o con el otro.....
