The location - hidden away, so close to the port by foot. Fantastic views

Probably my most enjoyable hotel stay ever. I was genuinely sad to leave.
Pros:

I had a spacious east-facing room with a balcony and an uninterrupted view over the old town, the harbour and the islands of Herm and Sark. The members of the hotel staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly - and each day they provided me with an excellent breakfast and evening meal.

Cons:

I really could not find anything to fault.

Large comfortable bedroom with excellent view. Whilst the bathroom room looked beautiful we felt vulnerable in the shower with nothing to hold onto climbing in and out . We obtained a non slip
mat to stand on which was a very useful .

The fruit ,at the self service buffet , was tasteless .

Part of a family celebration, my single booked room was upgraded to a very pleasant double.
Pros:

Great choice of cooked breakfasts.
I chose the kippers.
Delicious and cooked to perfection.

Cons:

The continental breakfast choice was a bit short compared to equivalent in France or Spain, but rarely do they offer such a wide choice of cooked.

The view from the suite. The upgrade was a treat! A lovely room with a huge comfortable bed. Every meal we had was excellent. All the staff were very helpful. The location was great - easy access to local buses.
