Manorhaus Restaurant is open to the public from Wednesday until Saturday. The residents evening dinner is available on all other dates by prior arrangement.

We didn't eat in the hotel at all, didn't actually ever see anyone eat there. We never met the owners, just got in via their helpful emails and parked in the nearby Dog Lane car par (3 minute walk to the hotel). The room was clean, fairly comfortable, good location for the sights in Ruthin.
The bathroom fan was very noisy for a period of running, it's also in the wrong place as the whole room and even the bedroom fills up with steam. I had to unplug a lamp to be able to have enough sockets for charging devices. The tea tray is on a small table that provides no room to actually make the tea, had to move the mugs etc to the desk to make room.
Breakfast was excellent. Good local ingredients, expertly prepared.
The fan in the bathroom was extremely loud
Location was perfect for our weekend requirements.

The hotel is old and full of character. The decor is so lovely and classy. Found the library on the last day unfortunately but a great little room full of everything. Food was extremely good and hosts absolutely lovely - nothing was too much trouble and even helped with ideas of places to go on our day out. Very personable and attentative, asking how our day was. Would definitely stay again. Very good value for money.
The lighting was a little dark near the bathroom door/mirror and near the kettle and the kettle was on a very short table which was too low for us - but a very small issue which we solved by moving it during our stay.
The owner was friendly, the decor was trendy and the room was comfortable.

I’m a tall male and the room had a bit of an inclined roof so I did bang my head a couple times while getting into rooms
Great location, beautiful decor and check in really quick and simple. Free car parking pass included to park in a car park down the road. Gavin and Chris are great hosts. Gorgeously decorated, cosy and warm. Highly recommend staying in Ruthin and close to the castle too.
Not wheelchair accessible. I have an elderly parent and would struggle if I was to bring her as there is no parking it is quite a distance away. Only one biscuit pack to share per couple, we usually get one each in other places we have stayed, but we were happy to share and it was a lovely Welsh cup of tea.🍪
The location was amazing we were attending a wedding at Ruthin castle, the beds at Manorhaus were so comfy. The self check in was easy.
We didn't see any staff all visit, nowhere to fill up water bottles (we needed a drink of water after the wedding at the castle),
