Manorhaus Restaurant is open to the public from Wednesday until Saturday. The residents evening dinner is available on all other dates by prior arrangement.

Loved the location - in the heart of the pretty older part of town and loved general vibe of the place - the building was beautiful. we stayed for a wedding and it was perfect weekend stay. Great room to get ready in pre wedding. I think compared to other hotels in Ruthin this is probably the best pick.

Unfortunately there seemed to be a leak coming down from the window so there was quite a damp mouldy smell in our room when you first walked in, and brown stains / water marks coming down the paintwork by the window. My friend sat on one of the window seat cushions and her backside got completely soaked with brown cold smelly water - the cushion was sodden. I appreciate it probably costs a lot of fix external structures / leaks but it wasn’t quite the experience we wanted on arrival.

Thought breakfast was included but suspect that i was my error. That aside, quite a busy road outside but these are only very minor.
It was a lovely building
The bathroom in a box, and the toilet seat was broken. The back of the bathroom door was coming off. The room smelled damp.
Comfortable, clean and very pleasantly decorated. I liked the pictures on the wall.
Having to walk from the car with our bags in the rain ! but the permit arrangement was very good.

Faulty shower, rather small room
Location is great if you need to be in Ruthin. Decor was individual but a bit tired.
Bathroom was dirty and the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied prior to our arrival. Shower handle was broken so came off on your hand and was difficult to turn the shower on. No shaver/toothbrush plug in the bathroom. Bed was so squeaky I was worried about waking others up in the hotel when I turned over. Parking permit a little annoying to have to take your permit back to the room after you've left. No staff around at any point to talk to. Not worth the money. Would rather book in the Spoons hotel round the corner for less money and similar standard of room.
Beautiful historic building in this beautiful historic town, nice decor and a relaxed atmosphere. Very quiet so good sleeps.

Staff very pleasant and friendly, room comfortable and clean.
Very limited hospitality trays, didn't feel that the stay was worth the price. There were minor issues with the bathroom which could do with renovating. Interestingly only one bath robe in a double room booked for two.
The decor is beautiful, with the rooms finished to such a high standard and so much attention to detail. There are lots of lovely little touches, like earbuds, cotton pads, tea, coffee and biscuits, which make you feel really well looked after. The beds are incredibly comfortable too!
The host was so lovely and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and the whole stay felt warm, welcoming and thoughtful. A really beautiful place with a wonderful host i'’d definitely stay again.
The only slight downside was that my room was on the ground floor, right beside the front door, so there was a little bit of noise from people coming in and out. It wasn’t a major issue, but it’s something to bear in mind when choosing a room.
