Close to where I needed it to be
Check in staff work in the pub so long wait to check in, windows wide open with no restrictors, plug sockets not working

Downstairs room was too noisy. Every time door into these rooms opened my door shook. Kept waking me up

Only had one issue with a young lady staff member and her attitude.
Plenty of parking, tasty food, pleasant bar staff
Only provided towels, cups, glasses and teatray stuff for one person not both of us. Cobwebs above the bed.
Nice clean room
It was quite cold late on night and radiator was broken in room tern it up
Breakfast was ok but not hot, dinner was good but not hot, staff were good.
Room was reasonably clean.

Room was a bit too warm
When we got up for breakfast (09:45)we were told there wasn’t any available because there was only 1 guest and they didn’t normally have it so they didn’t bother preparing any , it felt we were begging to get some that we paid for so to make things easier we only had a cooked breakfast
After breakfast we went back to the room to collect our belongings when there was a knock on the door about 10:15 it was the cleaners we felt we were getting pressured to vacate the room when we still had 45 minutes to check out we’ve stay there a few times but never been treated like that before
We arrived for a one night stay and the lady on reception spotted my crutches and moved us to two ground floor rooms rather than leaving us upstairs which I thought was brilliant and something she did not need to do but as we spoke we found out that Rosie was the manager and to be honest Rosie made us feel like we were family to be honest, we sorted out in our rooms and both room were spotless,immaculate to be honest, new carbon monoxide and fire alarms throughout shows the high level of guest safety that green king and the management put into your visit.
After sorting room we went down for food which was excellent, well cooked and warm, pleasantly served with a smile, we then had our night out and came back thinking mmm a pub maybe it will be noisy,no not at all only heard one couple going back to there room, the shower was like very and warm and the bed was super comfy.
We had breakfast cooked by the excellent Sophie and departed, only downside was only there for one night,we will be back, Greene king give your staff a pay rise plus massive car park which is free
