El personal del hotel empezando por Francisco en la recepción, julio en el restaurante palenque y Melissa en el restaurante peruano oriental quien fue extraordinaria en su atención. Los guardias del punto de salida hacia la playa como Renzo muy atento.
Observe los guardavidas y su trabajo es extraordinario y noté que un grupo de muchachos de un evento querían pasar al área de piscina con una botella de licor y no se lo permitieron por motivos de seguridad
Las habitaciones que dan hacia la ciénaga son extremadamente ruidosas en la noche

Es muy tranquilo, la habitación muy cómoda, tenía sala comedor y baño auxiliar además del principal, la comida excelente y el personal muy amable

Ubicación
Habitación con parches de pintura, humedad en paredes, los alimentos del room service cayeron mal.
Llegue a las 11 de la noche con mi hija de 2 años y me dice que desafortunadamente el sistema presentaba un error y mi reserva no habia quedado, me pusieron a esa hora con una niña dormida a buscar practicamente dejandome con la niña durmiendo en una silla.
Que no me cumplieron y me causaro varias alteraciones en mis vacaciones.

Las habitaciones muy buenas, muy buena limpieza y servicio. El personal de recepción encantador.
A la hora del desayuno hay demasiada gente, se acaba todo muy rápido y tardan en reponer por lo tanto a veces no da tiempo a desayunar bien lo que quieres. Deberían poner más horario

Bathroom and linens were dirty regardless of having arrived around noon and asked to wait until 3 for check-in.
The check-in process took a lot without any apparent reason.
Not even a small bottle of water as curtesy to drink overnight. Just an overpriced mini-bar.
Rooms were in bad condition as just badly remodeled without having been finished.
Room was very noisy, (even when my room had only one adjacent as it was a corner. I might be because doors do not close tightly, just as curtains leave space for light.
Yesterday there was a party close to de pool which went over 1:30 AM.
Free brakefast buffet had few options at 8AM as some dishes were just left there empty with no refill.
Air conditioning at the restaurant malfunctioning and the solution was to bring noisy stand fans.
Cartagena does offer a LOT of stay options. Inf this one could ve avoided. Do so.

Muy lento el check in. Para ir a la playa debes cruzar una zona fea y se inunda cuando llueve. Solo tiene un jacuzzi y el agua es la misma temperatura de la piscina. No tiene baño turco ni sauna.

El baño estaba sucio y el balcón lleno de arena y polvo, no habían hecho aseo. Afortunadamente solo fue una noche. Pensé que sonesta era una buena cadena pero parece que no..
La atencion del personal, seguridad, restaurante, limpieza y consergeria.
En algunos puntos se notaba la falta de mantenimiento en las instalaciones.
I stayed at the Sonesta for about 18 days, and my experience was absolutely amazing. I had a room on the 8th floor with a private balcony overlooking the ocean, which made my stay even more special. Not only is the hotel beautiful, but it’s also located in a great area. It’s very close to the airport, and they offer convenient taxi service right at the front door. You can also easily use Uber, but having multiple transportation options—especially their well-kept taxis—made everything even more convenient. What truly sets this place apart is the staff. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is nothing short of exceptional. My room was always spotless thanks to Juliet, who cleaned daily and consistently checked in to see if I needed anything. The hotel restaurants are also fantastic, offering delicious food in a relaxing atmosphere. I especially want to mention Manuel, the kitchen captain, who exceeded my expectations by carefully accommodating my dietary restrictions. Eduardo, the bellman, was also incredibly attentive and always ready to help with luggage or provide helpful information. Overall, I’m extremely grateful for such a wonderful experience. The combination of a beautiful hotel, excellent service, and outstanding staff made my stay unforgettable. I highly recommend it!
