Hermes Mykonos Hotel

Genuinely warm and caring front desk staff. Very sensitive to our special needs as visiting sailors in arranging free transport to and from the marina at Tourlos and changing dates of our stays. Room impeccably clean. Had the extra pillows in the room as requested prior to arrival. Breakfast was excellent and the staff there anxious to please. About a 10 minute walk downhill to the old city and a 5 minute drive to the ferry port and marina. Bed was king-size, plenty of plugs for device charging, and bathroom was well equipped.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel, what a find this was 🌟
The views were amazing as were the staff, they couldn't do enough for you !
We had a slight issue with the air con and sink in our room on the first night and in the morning we were moved to a sea view room at no extra charge.
A big shout out to the lovely reception staff - Chrysa, Maïra and Yiannis and our super helpful house keeper, Anna (who helped us move rooms). They really are super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
And not forgetting the lovely attentive waiting staff, who remember exactly what you like each morning at breakfast 🍽 Nothing is too much trouble.
On a negative note for me personally is that the rooms although beautiful could do with a mirror so you can dry your hair in front of (some bathrooms are quite dark (it's hard to see for hair and make up) also to check yourself & what you're wearing before you go out 💁🏼‍♀️
Stunning views, amazing pool area and bar but note that food finished at 6pm and the bar 🍸 closed at 7pm so if you want drinks after this time you'll need to buy something to take to your room - we were staying right at the end of the season and were pretty much the last guests to leave so maybe in the summer months the bar & restaurant stays open later ?
Also to note the walk down to the port/windmills is a mission and not to be done after any rain, it's really scary and a shame that there are no buses to & from the port. You need to walk or book a taxi 🚕 (easily done by the reception staff) I personally would not walk back up the hill and it's certainly not accessible for disabled or wheelchair users 🦽 🫤 The hotel do provide a mini bus to and from the port free of charge in the evenings at 7pm,8pm,9pm & 10pm which is helpful if you are eating out in the evenings.

All of this to one side, we had the most amazing stay and hope to be back to beautiful Mykonos one day ❤️

I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and have a mixed opinion about this hotel.

PROS:
• Good location! It’s a 10-minute walk to town, which was the main reason I chose this hotel, since I didn’t want to rent a car or depend on buses.
• Excellent breakfast included.
• Free shuttle service from the ferry port or airport (and back). This is very convenient, considering the standard taxi rate in Mykonos is €40.
• Due to a ferry strike, we had to change our stay, and Chrysa kindly rebooked our dates at no extra charge and followed up to make sure everything went smoothly. Mayra at reception was very nice as well with great recommendations!
• Nice sea views (especially from the restaurant and lobby).

CONS:
• The shuttle driver seemed upset and even came across as rude when picking us up, which gave a poor first impression.
• Our room smelled like sewage when we arrived.
• Some furniture feels old and worn. Even the wallpaper behind the bed was poorly applied, making the room look outdated.
• The staff, in general, was not as warm and friendly as in other parts of Greece I’ve visited.
• Rooms are not soundproof- you can hear everything from neighboring rooms and the restaurant.

Overall: I guess the price was ok for what I got but I would definitely look for a different option if I return to Mykonos.

Staff was very attentive. They booked a massage for me in my room on a rainy day. The breakfast was delicious and offered many choices.

Our Jr. Suite had an incredible view of the Mediterranean and the town of Mykonos! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety! About a 12 minute walk downhill to the main part of town.

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff. Great breakfast and pool area and spacious rooms :). It’s a bit of a walk to town (especially coming back up the hill - it’s a hike) but the hotel offers free shuttles in the evenings which was a great addition. AC worked really well and the free shuttle to/from the ferry was a perk! Fair price for a great spot!

Hermes hotel was amazing from check-in to check-out. The food, the views- we loved everything about this hotel. Very quiet, but within walking distance to the Mykonos night life as well.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Easy walk to town. Beautiful sea views & a nice pool area. Excellent breakfast. Our room was spacious, very clean & comfortable. The staff is lovely---very helpful. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to/from the ferry port, airport & in the evening from the town back to the hotel.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough. The staff was amazing. The location is central to everything. The room was always clean. Breakfast was delicious with options for everyone. They made everything so easy for us. Transfers, recommendations, airport pickup and drop-off. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The elevated views are incredible. The staff are helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is the best! We ate dinner before flight too that was great, big portions.
Super comfy bedding and pillows.
Always got a sun-bed. Complimentary lifts to town/airport much appreciated.
Would’ve liked a mirror in bedroom is only suggestion. Hope to return.

Wow – what a stunning hotel! The rooms are spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. While it’s a short walk down to town, it’s very manageable, and the complimentary evening shuttle makes it even easier. The service was truly impeccable – the staff went above and beyond, even packing us a breakfast to take with us on our last day for an early flight. Speaking of breakfast, it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. The complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off was another huge plus that made everything seamless. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough – 10/10 for service, location, and views!
