Could have been a lot better with a little thought and consideration
Pros:

Nice location with restaurants nearby, not too far from beaches and ancient city. But not close to bus stops. Room had refrigerator and some nice amenities, but fell short.

Cons:

There were problems… after my local Euros card wouldn’t go through on their machine (“couldn’t connect”), we agreed to try the next day (I was staying for 5 days). She said she hadn’t had this problem all summer. When she wasn’t available the next morning, she went ahead and ran my US credit card without my permission. Apparently was in a hurry to get her money and couldn’t wait?

Even though there were nice amenities, which included a one burner hot plate… there was no pot or pan to use on the hot plate to boil or fry and egg for example. No napkins or paper towels.

Then there was no hot water in the morning on two mornings (“didn’t have this problem all season”). She tried to make up for it by giving me fruit from her garden one morning and other such gestures, which was appreciated.

On my last morning (I think I was the only person left at end of season), hammering and drilling in rooms above and next to me started at 8AM and continued until I checked out. Couldn’t wait until I left? It just felt like she was more concerned about money than my comfort.

The place was “OK,” but these things made for a bit of an unpleasant stay. It would not have taken much to make it better, but was the least pleasant stay on my 6 weeks in Europe…reminding why I usually look for an AirBnB or similar when I’m traveling.

Ηταν πολύ κοντά στο λιμάνι και στην παλιά πόλη.

Cons:

Δεν είχε επαρκή κλιματισμό. Έχρηζε ανακαίνισης. Το φουαγιέ ήταν χωρίς κλιματισμό. Δεν υπήρχε ανελκυστήρας. Το μάνταλο της τουαλέτας ήταν σπασμένο.

Splendido! Rimasto nel cuore!
Pros:

Ho avuto fantastico ed indimenticabile soggiorno! L'hotel gode di una magnifica posizione centrale ma in una parte molto tranquilla! Raggiungibile a piedi in breve sia la spiaggia che i bellissimi luoghi storici e del divertimento. Rodi medievale, il Castello dei Cavalieri sono a pochi passi dal hotel. I supermercati sono praticamente davanti la struttura. Si può comprare anche la carne fresca nella macelleria dietro angolo. Ci sono tantissimi taverne e ristoranti nella vicinanza dove è possibile gustare buonissima cucina greca e anche ballare sirtaki. La stanza è molto carina e dotata di tutti i comfort. La pulizia è eccellente! Ma la cosa più importante del mio viaggio sono state ospitalità e accoglienza in hotel! Christine, Michelle e il suo marito sono stati eccezionali! Ho sentito sempre la loro gentilezza, cortesia, disponibilità, aiuto e attenzione speciale durante il mio soggiorno. La mia vacanza è stata breve, di una settimana, ma mi è rimasta nel cuore. Non vedo l'ora di tornare ancora in questo incantevole e meraviglioso posto sul mare!

very quite in the morning, no noises 
even the cleaning lady started later.
It what I was looking for in Rhodes 
been few times in Rhodes, even in Blue sky hotel it wasn’t so quite. Highely recommended

Séjour de qualité dans un cadre agréable.
Pros:

Hotel très bien situé. Toutes les visites sont accessibles à pied. Appartement très fonctionnel et calme. Gentillesse du personnel, toujours à l'écoute.

Florida Hotel was very centric ,all the restaurants,supermarkets ,shopping street was all around it ,but its more like a pension other than a hotel ,there is no elevator to go up and also the bathroom was very old fashioned ,needs to be renovated…the owners are very helpful and kind .

Ωραίο, πεντακάθαρο και φωτεινό δωμάτιο σε πολύ κεντρικό σημείο της πόλης της Ρόδου. Γύρω από το ξενοδοχείο υπάρχουν πολλά μαγαζιά (ταβέρνες, καφετέριες, σουπερμάρκετ κ.λπ.), αλλά το ίδιο το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται σε απολύτως ήσυχο δρόμο. Το προσωπικό είναι εξαιρετικά ευγενικό και έτοιμο να βοηθήσει με το καθετί. Θα ξανάμενα εκεί με χαρά.

Nalazi se u pešačkoj zoni i sve je lako dostupno, takođe i plaža.
U sobi su nas dočekale odštampane detaljne informacije o tome gde jesti, šta probati od lokalnih specijaliteta, preporuka za lokalna vina, blizina marketa i sve informacije za obilazak ostrva..Mnogo su nam značile te informacije!

Cons:

Možda samo da se ne potencira previše na tišini u večernjim časovima.
Samo ne previše, ok je da ne bude buka..

experience could be better with some updates to both the roomsand approach ofolder lady in reception

Location was central easy to access to facilities around.the younger receptionist was polite and helpful which I really appreciate

One morning while passing through The older lady at the front desk repeatedly asked for my room number-I guess because of lack of professionalism or not aware of how to approach to hotel guests-without any clear reason.I haven't brought any extra guest as mentioned in the rules and I had no intention of doing so.it felt unnecessary and uncomfortable the way she approached also didn't greet me or show any polite attitude which left a poor impression or maybe I was a single solo woman Traveller...The rooms themselves also need improvement -the design is poor, structure and furniture is very old and out of fashion

Ein 2 Sterne Hotel welches mit viel Herzblut geführt wird
Pros:

Uns hat die Lage des Hotels sehr gefallen. Restaurants, Bars, Kaffees sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren alle in der Nähe.
Auch die Altstadt von Rhodos war für uns gut zu Fuss zu erreichen und ist sehr empfehlenswert.
Wir bekamen viele Tipps und Hinweise von den Inhabern Michelle & Christine.
Auch liegt im Zimmer eine Mappe aus, in der Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten oder Strände empfohlen werden.
Das Hotel liegt in einem ruhigen Bereich. Es ist wohl etwas hellhörig, aber da das Hotel nicht stark besucht gewesen ist, hat uns das nicht weiter gestört. Auch sind die Strände (z. Bsp. Ellie Beach) gut zu Fuss zu erreichen. WLAN war gut und hatte keine Unterbrüche. Fernsehprogramme in vielen Sprachen genügend vorhanden.
Abschliessend muss ich sagen, das wir uns nur zum schlafen oder kurz zum umziehen nach dem Strand Besuch im Hotel aufgehalten haben.
Das Familien geführte Hotel gab sich die grösste Mühe unsere Wünsche oder Anregungen umzusetzen.

Cons:

Die ganze Einrichtung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, und es wäre gut, wenn ein paar Renovationen durchgeführt würden.
