Friendly staff and great location, but overall it did not meet expectations. Poor value for money.
Pros:

Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Fantastic location right in the middle of the old city. Nice rooftop although there was no bar available, it was just a sitting area.

Cons:

Rooms are not soundproof: a ticking noise from the AC unit on the ground floor kept me awake every night. I could also clearly hear discussions that other guests or staff members had early in the morning right outside of my room, which woke my up every day. The room was not clean enough, dust in the corner, spider nets, black mould in the bathroom, rusty metal bits on the faucet and tap. Overall, not a 4-star experience.

Pros:

Die Lage ist prima, mitten in der Altstadt und trotzdem erstaunlich ruhig.

Cons:

Die Betten waren für uns zu weich und leider wurde im Frühstücksraum die vorhandene Klimaanlage nicht genutzt.

Πολύ καθαρό , πολύ καλό πρωινό κι εξίσου καλή εξυπηρέτηση.

Cons:

Το δωμάτιο είχε μια μυρωδιά κλεισούρας και δεν γνωρίζω αν έφταιγε το κλιματιστικό ή το γεγονός ότι ήταν εσωτερικό δωμάτιο.

Good choice for a night or two in Chania
Pros:

A pleasant room in a fairly quiet building, just a few minutes from the centre of the old town. Generous buffet breakfast and very friendly staff. Excellent air-con (it was hot) and a comfortable bed.

Air conditioning did not work. Room was uncomfortably hot. Found a dead cockroach in our room.

Jammer dat er geen lift is maar dat wordt ruimschoots gecompenseerd door de geweldige locatie in de Old Town, vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk ontbijt

Nice location, but refurbishing needed
Pros:

Great location, nice terrace, friendly staff.

Cons:

My room was quite dated (fotos) and worn down (better not to look at the mattress) but otherwise ok. What really bothered me was the strange smell (very aggressive room deodorant) in the hotel and more so in the room.

Funny was that a prior guest seemed unhappy with the exit sign and used a city map and tape to cover it :-)
