Please note that a deposit of CHF 200 per day will be blocked on the guests' credit card upon arrival to guarantee for incidentals.

Please note that on the day of arrival, the booking confirmation is also valid as a public transport ticket (including transfer from Bern Airport).

Opening hours at the spa:
Monday to Thursday: 3.00 pm to 8.00 pm, Friday 10.30 am to 9.00 pm, Saturday 9.00 am to 9.00 pm and Sunday 9.00 am to 8.00 pm.

Friday to Sunday we have Spa Slots that may be reserved in advance.

Please note that children under 12 years are only allowed in the spa area from 16:00 until 17:00 and need to be accompanied by an adult. Children from 12 to 16 years of age in the company of an adult have unlimited access to the spa area.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Cons:

Das Personal am Checkin war sehr kleinlich. Um 14.55 Uhr teilten sie uns mit, dass das Zimmer noch nicht bezugsbereit ist (Checkin 15.00 Uhr). Um 15.01 war das Zimmer dann „frei“. Das fanden wir sehr unnötig und peinlich.

The most disappointing experience was related to breakfast. We stayed for two nights and clearly informed the staff that we wanted breakfast for only one morning, and that for the second day we were not sure yet due to our departure plans. Despite this, we were charged for breakfast on both days.

When we did not attend the second breakfast and asked about a refund (we saw that it was charged later), we were told that “if breakfast is booked, it must be paid for whether you attend or not.”
However, we never booked breakfast for the second day ourselves — this seems to have been either a misunderstanding or a mistake made by the reception staff.

We did not use the breakfast service that day, and therefore being charged for it felt unfair and unacceptable, especially for a five-star hotel. The situation required several calls and discussions, and the initial refusal from the reception team felt unprofessional and uncomfortable.

Apart from these issues, the stay was good overall, but the situation with breakfast and the communication from the reception could definitely be improved.

Spa unmanned when we visited. No instructions on how to use lockers and no info on the spa area when unmanned.
Staff did not give any info on the Bern pass which I discovered is available to anyone staying in a hotel in the city. Staff did not make me aware of this at all.

A localização é perfeita, os funcionários são incríveis.

Cons:

Deveria ter um espaço para crianças. O funcionário do SPA, um senhorzinho super mal educado. Precisa aprender a tratar os hospedes. Foi muito grosseiro comigo, porque eu estava sem o roupão do hotel. Disse que eu só poderia fazer parte de lá se eu fosse colocar meu roupão.

Spa closes too early in the evening and opens too late in the morning. Shower smelled like sewage. Amenities in bathroom were quite limited (eg, no soap for bathtub, let alone bath salts).
