Hotel Kartaxa Cartagena

The staff were amazing. Very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was outstanding and Erica my server was very accommodating.

The hotel is super cozy. Our rooms were huge and very confortable on the 3rd floor. The beds feel more like a home bed rather than a hotel bed, so we slept beautifully during our stay! The location is 10/10, right in the center, but not noisy at all.
Breakfast is not a buffet, so it is very limited, but the food is great!
Just bear in mind that there are no elevators in the hotel.

We were very happy with our stay and highly recommend this lovely hotel. It was a quiet, cool, oasis in the old, walled city within easy walking distance of major tourist highlights including the fort and the playas. Our rooms were clean, the AC and shower worked well, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would particularly like to thank Sergio and his teammates at the front desk who always had helpful answers to our questions, and Erica who was so kind and friendly and served us such delicious breakfasts and indulged our passion for maracuya jugo during the day. Thank you for a wonderful introduction to your beautiful country!

Great location inside walled city. Walkable to great nearby restaurants and attractions. Taxi and uber can be taken at doorstep.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Kartaxa in Cartagena de las Indias. The location was convenient to shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was provided every morning and was delicious! Erika served us daily and she was the most kind and knowledgeable about the menu. We made true friends across the sea. Also, she is a gifted coffee artist. She made our morning breakfast so pleasant.
Our room was always spotless and cool, providing respite from the heat and humidity.
The front desk attendants were also extremely helpful. They answered all our questions and hailed cabs when we were in need.
We would stay here again if in Cartagena.

Very helpful and friendly staff, spacious room with great air-conditioning... so necessary after coming in from the heat! A good selection for breakfast and lovely ambience!

Everything about this hotel is lovely! The historic building is well maintained and very clean.

The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, we had nothing but positive interactions with everyone.

The complimentary breakfast was cooked to order with fresh fruit, coffee, juices, and breads.

We had an amazing time staying at this hotel! Me and my wife enjoyed our 5 days stay here. Service was very friendly, the rooms were cleaned and maintained daily, the breakfast was amazing with multiple different options and it was very close to the town so we could enjoy the night life. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!! We will definitely be back in the near future :)

It was a very clean room, the breakfast and coffee (which is included) was delicious, excellent location as I was attending a conference near Santa Clara. The hotel is close to a School so there can be some noise early in the morning , staff is friendly

The hotel is tastefully decorated. The breakfast is delicious w excellent presentation. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to visit the old city and it's pretty quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Kartaxa was absolutely amazing! The hotel is spotless, the breakfast was delicious, and the overall vibe was warm and welcoming. Carlos went above and beyond to make our celebration special—he even surprised us with a birthday song and cake! Jennifer and Rosy are two of the sweetest and most helpful ladies you’ll ever meet, and Ronner ensured everything ran smoothly. The entire staff was incredibly friendly. Kartaxa is truly a 10/10 experience!

I was only here for one night before flying out early the next morning. The hotel location is spectacular. However my room didn’t have a window and was very basic. The bathroom was small and the AC blasts on the bed all night.
