I did like the jr suite for rm 206, (not the handicap access as I did not need that) as it had a door to close off from the bedroom, but I didn't know about this jr suite option as I stayed last year in rm 227 and it was just one long bigger room.
I couldn't get 2 rooms next door as I wrote in the comments that I needed it when booking (as I have minors with me) and then I couldn't cancel to get partial credit. Hotel site need to show or state there are diff layout of the jr suite (ex. rm 206 vs 227) otherwise I wouldn't have booked 2 rooms. As well as show or state which type of rooms have connecting doors for families with children or extended family that need a 2nd room. The a/c temp was hard to control. It was too hot or too cold. I didn't see a safe in the room. The ice machine on floor 2 wasn't working and some other families tried other floors and not sure those worked too. When there are events around the hotel such as state cup, etc, the hotel manager should staff more people at the cafe to process and make orders faster for those specific weekends, etc. There is only 1 towel hook in the bathroom which made it very hard to hang other towels when you have a total of 4-5 family members in a room.

The property's staff was frequently absent. Key services such as meals were late or did not occur. The elevators were out-of-order
The location was needed for an event.
Another giant Marriott. Overpriced for what it is.
Very impressed all around! Traveling with young children is often a challenge, but Marriott staff & environment provided safety, and impeccible amenities and environment. Staff was the perfect balance of friendly and professional. Even other fellow lodgers had great attitudes! The big plus was the lovely ‘lounging’ area for gathering or just sitting in a comfy and beautifully designed ‘loung’ zone.

The service
When I checked in it was at night around 9:30 and a man was standing behind me waiting to pay for some snacks. I was nervous that the desk agent would say my room number out loud (safety first!) and to my surprise he did not and just showed me the number and told me where the elavators were. He was very friendly.
When I checked in the mattress was wet on the left hand side of the bed. The good news is that they cleaned whatever spill was there but the bad news was that they didn't let it dry. Kinda gross. There was also no mattress pad or bed bug protecting pad that you usually see in hotels. I did wat at the cafe more than once and there was a gentleman wokring on Satruday morning who was so busy but he remained pleasant and was efficient. And then there was a young woman who worked the cafe register who was the opposite. I tried to be cheerful to maybe lighten her mood up but it seemed as if she did not want to be there nor be serving customers. She could have been having a bad day which I totally understand but I had her twice and she was the same each time. Again, I don't presume to know what she had going on. The next day I had breakfast and there was the same woman but was also another one who was so smiley, helpful and she was wearing a flower accesory in hair. She saved the Monday morning breakfast experience.
The building the lobby the pool area are nice. The second one was very nice.
The first room we were given the bathtub was dirty, so the staff was gracious and promptly switched us to a clean
Everything! I’ve stayed there many times…
They now charge for parking. I don’t like that…
The pool and outdoor patio area very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. I did get a great price on a last minute deal here
