Classed a 4 star but reached 3 star status
All in all not a bad hotel but mgt don’t really have a clue which spoils the overhaul picture
Main pool doesn’t open until 11.00 which by that time half the day has gone
Restaurant resemble a fast food cafe and wouldn’t class it as a restaurant as oppose to a quick meal the good islands were place to far away from each other item at one end of cafe then troupe to other end minimum of 25 people continually in queue for pool refreshments
When mgt were approached for answers to my questions thier reply was if you are looking for compensation then you wont get it not a very helpful or professional answer quite disrespectful actually
Then sending a reply denying they had said that
Would I return no

Just got back from 5 nights, just me and my 10 year old boy who is coeliec. The staff were brilliant catering for my son, bringing the chef out at meals times to discuss what he could eat. Also there was some halal options which was great for us.

There is so much to do for the kids, football, padel, water activities, and a great pool and slides.

The staff are really friendly and helpful

I would definitely recommend for any family and we will be returning

Back for a second year in a row and very happy with our holiday! Food was a lot better and much more variety than the year before. There are some that complain it wasn’t hot however it depends what time you eat. The entertainment well what can I say gaga puts in 110% everyday and enjoyed his efforts and the team. We did find the air con a struggle some nights and the bed sheets where a little worn however highly recommend for the price and deals through jet 2! The manager was also really friendly and always had time to say hi ! Customer service was always polite and happy to help ! Highly recommend if looking for a good deal and fun for the family ! i recently stayed at la hacienda and overall had a mixed but mostly positive experience.

what was good:

the location was convenient, close to la pineda beach, and salou & portaventura via bus, had a small supermarket nearby and a few up the road, and an excursions shop nearby to go into barcelona or other surrounding destinations. it was also first stop off the transport bus from barcelona airport, about an hour or so transport time

the room was clean, had a lovely modern bathroom, *mini* fridge, plenty of shelves and small rail in the cupboard

most of the staff were friendly/helpful, mostly at reception and in the restaurant

areas for improvement:

on arrival, there was only one member of staff checking us in, as a big family, and me with a seperate booking, took way too long.

although the room was very clean, for some reason i was not provided with a table and chairs on my balcony, but maintenance brought it no issue after i raised it with reception. there were also no drawers for clothes or items which was manageable, but a bit odd

my only other issue with the room/information from the hotel before arrival was the hidden fee of €30 for the safe in the room. this was quite disappointing as i have never had to pay a fee in any other hotel i have stayed in, domestic or abroad. this should be expected to come with any hotel room, especially considering that you pay enough for the room as is.

additionally, the bar staff were not always the friendliest, and they are extremely understaffed to meet the demands of the amount of guests that stay there, and i went in may, so i have no idea how they will cope during peak season. the queues would go on for ages, queuing for up to 20 mins for a drink, that was way too small that you’d be going back for another in no time. for this reason i really doubt it isn’t worth going all inclusive as you’d probably never be making the most of your money.
also, i understand the token-drink system can usually be efficient, but when this isn’t explained to you on check in, can be quite a faff when going to the bar for the first time, and made even more difficult by rude staff.

i couldn’t really fault the quality of the restaurant food either for the most part, but i just felt it got quite repetitive after a while, so i couldn’t imagine staying here for longer than a week.

overall, i would recommend this hotel to others, for the most part, but i have no idea how it would be during peak holiday seasons unless some adjustments are made, and the children in the family seemed to really enjoy themselves. while there were some minor issues, and a pesky fee for the safe, i still enjoyed my time here as the area is convenient and quiet, and the entertainment was great

This hotel was amazing , imaculatley clean , staff are amazing towards all the guests even if they aren't the same to them . All staff have compromised with gluten free , dairy free and just picky eaters in general. The pool area has no litter left as they have an amazing cup and token system for the enviroment. Food is always lovely something new everyday but always something everyone will like. Best desserts out of all the places I have visited. If a dish ever runs out on the display the staff immeditaly replace it. Only criticism is that the pool opens at 10 and this includes the sunbeds. All together my family and I had an amazing holiday and I would recommend visiting the beach just down the road.

The team here at La Hacienda is amaizing. They go above and beyond on daily basis and work really hard. We felt home from the first moment we walked in at the hotel. Special mention for Lem from reception she is just brilliant and very helpful ! Salma and Mercedes from the restaurant always welcome us with a smile and are so kind. Tinki, Gaga and Nawal from the animation team have been great with my daughter and did an amaizing painting on her arm ! Food has been great and rooms are spotless. Beach is 5 minute walk and is spotless as well ! We are having amaizing holiday. Thank you all !

La comida muy buena, la atención de la jefa del restaurante Mercedes, maravillosa al igual que Rocío y el resto de las chicas y chicos, la limpieza muy buena siempre al tanto de todo, en fin un hotel para repetir, gracias a todos los que trabajan alli

La grandeur des chambres, la cuisine du soir très bonne, pour le petit déjeuner manque les donuts 🍩
