We booked this for 1 night through bookingdotcom after carefully going though all inclusions and amenities. We chose Dead Sea as our last destination before exiting Jordan and hence wanted a special stay.
We arrived at the property around 1750 hrs on the 18th of Nov and found the pool to be dirty and unkempt, the reception staff informed it was under repairs, then we learnt the shuttle service to the dead sea discontinued, the rooms were badly maintained, lights not working, half flush not working, paint peeling and generally run down place.
The room allotted to us was super cramped and making a quick dash to the bathroom a nightmare, I demanded either a refund or a better functioning room, after nearly 45 mins of waiting and explaining we managed to get an interconnected room ( 3 persons), they should have mentioned that the property is under renovation so people can take an informed decision. The lobby was dusty, smelling foul and overall the stay was disappointing.
This is a 4 star hotel but I will give 5 star for it, very close to dead sea with shuttle bus service, good breakfast & dinner options, nice pool, overall good
The worst experience ever! Don’t ever try to go there. The service is 0, the food is -10. We were on the beach, and there was no water to take a shower, plus the bathrooms were disgusting 🤢.
I have traveled to more than 25 countries, and I have never seen a hotel like this.
Thank you for reading my comment, and I hope everyone pays close attention to hotel reviews before making a reservation.
I came here with friends. We were nine and had great hopes for a fantastic time at the Dead Sea. Although it was a bit more expensive to book here, we wanted to enjoy a good quality of our stay. The hotel has potential but almost everything in it is old and not well kept. Towels in the rooms are like ten years old. The open buffet had few items and some were really of bad quality and not fresh. Shockingly, they don't offer water at dinner although you paid for open buffet. Crazy! And you can't go anywhere to buy water, but some of the friends found water jar to refill their water bottles at the gym. This fact alone was so ridiculous that I spoke with a manager who sent us water bottles after we finished dinner--nice but really too late. Doors in the room and almost everywhere in the hotel are old. The pool and the hot tub are fine. Service in general is okay. Still, not nearly as Wyndham in other countries. Worst thing ever about this hotel for me is the fact that SOME staff members smoke cigarettes or vape indoors. I actually saw a manager vaping behind his desk. This hotel can transform if it's managed by a better leadership.
Rooms and facilities are ok. Around the hotel it is pretty dirty.
The beach could be cleaner and they should change the chaise longues.
Staff is friendly and welcoming.
It could a very good place with a strong renovation!
Food was ok but not up to standard of other hotels we stayed at.
There are many details that should be improved, so many that it is impossible not to see them…
Clean hotel, beautiful landscaping, comfortable place to relax. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely views of the sea and the mountains. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a reasonably priced and restful vacation.
3 star because of the kind and generous staff other than that this hotel is not a 4 or 5 star hotel I think the pictures on website was from long ago! This hotel is dirty the balcony is sandy and dirty , beddings didn’t feel clean and all night you can smell the scent of cigarette from outside! We stay there and our shower was clogged water was every where they responded quickly but I think they need to do some renovations! The pool was awful dirty it looks as if it’s not being cleaned! Will not recommend staying here the only great thing about the hotel is the access to the Dead Sea!
Not good food quality
Spa services are not available
Location is very nice and they provide shuttle service for free to Dead Sea, room was bit small for two adults and one child and they charge extra for the child’s bed which is surprising as we booked for three already, other than that they stay is good
it was a wonderful stay at the dead sea the staff were very nice and helpful specially Ibrahim. and they have points system for every stay which is very great. rooms were nice and clean the beach is 600 m away but there is a bus that take you to it which was very helpful
Positives: employees were nice, and agreed not to charge me for the extra bed since my reservation was for three and it wasn’t clear and Expedia didn’t charge me for the third person as they should have. They gave us a “upgrade” to a bigger room. The beds were comfortable. The beach was the best one I’ve seen at the Dead Sea because there are covered areas with chairs, even tho the chairs are just ok.
Negatives: pretty much everything else. Everything is old and falling apart. Breakfast is meh so didn’t try the other meals there. Cafeteria buffet atmosphere. Loud at pool, lots of kids and loud music. Bus down to Dead Sea is very third world. Bathrooms at Dead Sea are gross. Sliding glass doors in the room weren’t locked and required a handyman to come lock them so then we couldn’t open them again. Not clean. Towels are old and dingy.
I loved my stay at the Ramada. Most comfortable time. It was very relaxing. So fun! Food is great. Staff are all friendly. Everyone was so nice.
Highly Recommend!
A wonderful and very beautiful hotel...the services and prices are affordable for everyone...and the follow-up with us is good for our service, especially Mr. Omar Nazal, the receptionist, for his cooperation with us, follow-up and good treatment.
I feel really bad about this experience it truly sucks the food isn’t fresh and really nasty the dinner buffet doesn’t include any drinks not even water etc …. To summarize I don’t recommend it at all & I was abt to stay for 4 days I cancelled and pulled my money back at the second day 💖
I wish to thank Mr. Omar Nazzal for his quick response and immediate action taken, when I informed him that the AC was not working in my room.
To compensate for the lost time, I was upgraded to a beautiful suite. Thank you Mr. Omar for providing such a delightful stay! I look forward to the opportunity of returning in the future.
Thank you Ramada team for the hospitality and for making our stay a memorable one.
It's a bit off the beaten path but I kind of enjoy that. Signage to the hotel itself is somewhat of a challenge if you come in at night. Property itself is nice and I love the shuttle to the Dead Sea.
Not very clear with the dining options available and different staff members tell you different times and places to eat. Even wanted to charge for a milk sachet to have a cup of tea in my room which was meant to be included. No information in the room about eating options either other than a room service menu.
Very nice and quite. It has private beach.big swimming pool.
I recommend this place for everyone.
Very nice and close enough to the Dead Sea. They have shuttles to take you to a private beach or you can walk for about 10 minutes to their private beach.
