Hotel Solaya

The rooms thmselves are basic almost like a dorm room. The bed was comfortable. The small pool was too warm to go in, literally a bath. The big pool was at least cool enough to get in but after a few minutes not refreshing. The pool was a vibe tho. Great DJ and music not too loud, we just sat in the regular pool side loungers and they afre very uncomfortable, a metal bar across your lower and middle back.

We heard there is going to be a complete reno and we will check back next year.

They had a Sunday event where LOUD base music started thmping early Sun morn. You couldn't get away from it anywhere on the property-you've been warned!

Great location. Walking distance to places to eat, coffee, shops. Great pool party atmosphere on the weekends and decent rooms

It went very well. I was allowed to check in early so more pool time.

Room was dirty. The tub was old dirty and the paint was pealing off.
There is the smell or urine around the exit of the pool
There was dog feces all around the common areas.

My favorite spot in Old Town. Fun place and great staff!

When I arrived they say expedia never send my reservation to them so they where fully booked and we had to go search to other hotel

Staff were good the place over all just wasn’t what i thought it would be

I really like this place. Its a great location. 2nd time I’ve stayed here. The wifi has gone out every time I've visited. Wish it was a little more up to date and had better room features.

Wished it had a microwave. Beautiful views and super peaceful vibes

Staff wasn’t great ac didn’t work. Looked like a motel 6. But near everything no valet nor help with luggage

Wife speaking- I went solo for one night and it was ok but I would not stay there again in the future. The quiet pool was nice for a swim and to read poolside. The party pool is nice if you are a yound 20 something year old and there to party. I did like there was separation.

The rooms are older and they took minimalism literally when redecorating. Something just felt off. There were stay hairs in my bath tub and it looked grungy so I did not shower.

This is not hotels fault but someone apparently left their toddler alone and around 9pm I had police banging on my door as they were looking for thr parents. Staying alone, this was very unsettling. I ended up not sleeping very well. Disappointing because the pillows and bed were actually very comfy.

Overall I just feel like ive had a better experience at other hotels and would not recommend this one personally.

Also, may be location of my room in particular but I heard every emergency siren that drove by. Very noisy.

Great location and very convenient to walk around town. Nice pool, comfortable bed and spacious room. The shower temperature was very cold until we finally found the right spot to put the handle to get hot water, and it was in the cold spot lol

Loved the property! Great decor, friendly staff!!

The hotel was okay, its was not well cared for, the towels were stained, the bathroom door was missing parts and did not stay closed. The area around offered lots of food options and shopping. The pool area was nice and the gym looked well kept.
