Villa Roussa

villa Roussa, for 2-3 night stay is convenient and great. Behind bus station and close to all restaurants and shopping. Not a fancy place but for the price is just right. the front desk host is great and friendly. Just remember to call if you are arriving late, it is not a 24 hr front desk. Overall for a budget conscious travel is a great choice.

This place was close to the bus station, which we needed as we were arriving by air at near 11pm and didn’t reach our hotel until near midnight. A staff member was still waiting for us when we arrived, which was nice. The room was clean, small and outdated but adequate for one night. We were able to leave our bags at reception until leaving on the ferry next afternoon. The different staff we encountered on reception were pleasant and helpful. Being next to the bus station and main streets meant that it was noisy with people coming and going and sometimes shouting until very early in the morning. It was expensive for what we got compared to many other places in Greece but then this is Santorini which is an expensive island wherever you stay.

Personale molto simpatico, disponibile e cordiale. Ottima la posizione, appena un minuto dalla Caldera, dal parcheggio pubblico e dal terminal degli autobus.
La struttura è molto carina. Peccato che la nostra camera con l'ingresso indipendente, era situata al piano seminterrato. L'umidità presente ci ha costretti a tenere gli abiti in valigia. Sicuramente le camere dei piani superiori non avranno questo inconveniente! Avendo soggiornato solo 3 notti, non abbiamo ritenuto opportuno chiedere un cambio di stanza.

The Villa Roussa was perfect for my short stay in Santorini. It is located just behind the bus station (2 min walk), which is incredibly convenient (and the reason I booked the hotel). The bus is easy to catch to and from the airport and Oia, for only €1.60 cash (no card). The building was hard to find, as it is in a side street, but I called the property manager when I arrived and he met me and showed me the way. After delayed/missed flights, he was very accommodating, ensuring he met my check in time when I finally arrived at 10pm. The main street was still buzzing, and I felt safe, as an alert single female, going to get dinner when I arrived. The building is a bit dated, but it’s fine if you’re not fussy. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Air conditioning was a great to get relief from the Santorini heat. Would definitely stay here again.

A really convenient stop for my first night in Santorini right by the bus stop! Which means no hills and no awkward cobbled streets to navigate.
Reception staff super friendly and welcoming.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. Location was perfect just a few steps from the bus and a short 2 minute walk from all the action. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Santorini.

Spectacular view of the New Port and the sea. Perfect for viewing the sunsets over the water with islands in the distance. Clean, fresh, airy, quiet, well maintained hotel apartment. Friendly service. Ten minute walk to SeaBus or public bus and a quick ride to the Old Port or downtown Mykonos. The hotel is on a hill. It is a bit of a climb up from the public bus or Sea Bus after spending the day in town. You can avoid the climb by taking a taxi back.

Salle de bain vieillotte. Avons trouvé un paquet de cheveux au sol dans la chambre.

Villa Roussa was situated very central to shops , bus station and restaraunts , it was an attractive building and was in tip top condition .

Stayed for one night, hotel was in a great location if a little basic, and the staff were very helpful. Room was slightly smaller than i would have liked.

The service was good
The place is near the center (5 min) and near the bus terminal (very convenient for other trips such as Oia etc..)
The host is very professional and give us lots of advice in order to visit Santorini.

Posto strategico. Vicino alla fermata degli autobus che collegano le varie località, Di fronte ad un parcheggio per auto, quod o scuoter e nello stesso tempo in centro a thira. Pulito con personale sempre disponibile a qualsiasi problema. Meglio di così

We had excellent stay at hotel. Walking distance to bus station & market square. Highly recommended.

This place got me to cough quite a lot and some of the walls do look moldy. The bed is way too soft for sleeping.

Location is great in that it us right in town. Bed was very comfortable. Room was very small and not the best shower. Had to fix toilet a couple times. Friends stayed in a much nicer hotel for about the same money.
