Our family of four stayed at Chateau de Chine Kaohsiung for three nights during our trip to Taiwan at the end of May 2026, and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish.
The hotel is conveniently located in the Yancheng District, just a five-minute walk from Yanchengpu MRT Station. It's also only a few minutes walk to the Love River, and from there you can enjoy a pleasant riverside stroll to attractions such as Pier-2 Art Center and the Great Harbor Bridge.
Although the rooms are not very roomy, they are clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the dehumidifier in the room, which was very useful in Taiwan's humid weather.
Every staff member we met was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of choices, including some delicious Hong Kong-style dim sum. We also loved the different desserts served each morning. The nightly happy hour was another highlight, with tasty Taiwanese beer and a nice selection of snacks.
We would especially like to THANK Joan from the breakfast restaurant. Her kindness and thoughtful service made a lasting impression on our family. She gave us helpful sightseeing recommendations, and before we left, she bought us a bag of traditional Taiwanese snacks as a gift. It was such a warm and thoughtful gesture that made us feel truly welcome.
Thanks to this wonderful stay, we will definitely choose Chateau de Chine Kaohsiung again the next time we visit Kaohsiung. Highly recommended!

空調已經調最小風速還是很吵😵💫，浴室排水孔沒有防臭逆止閥及一樓接待處水溝味很重。
